I asked this question a little while ago but didn't exactly get the answers I was looking for. I am trying to conceive and was 3 days late.. the day I was supposed to start around the 8th and on the 8th I felt full blown period symptoms but no period... Today I have had light bleeding but nothing major like usual. There isn't enought blood to wear a light tampon etc... Does this sound like implantation remotely?

Some people don't even have implantation bleeding, but when I did, it came two weeks earlier than my period would have, and it was heavier than most people say implantation is, like a real period for 3 days. Yours sounds like the type of bleeding that would be implantation, though implantation would usually take place just a few days after your ovulation, when the embyro made its way toyour uterus. But every woman is different. If your period is 3 days late, you can take a test now and rest assured that a negative is 95% accurate and a positive is 99.5% accurate. However, if this IS implantation bleeding, there's a chance it won't show up on a test until 14 days after the bleeding...if it JUST NOW made it into your uterus you probably have not had the chance to start making hcg. Best of luck to you, and don't stress out too much!

I don't think that it is implantation bleeding... but I aldo don't think it is a period...at least not a normal period. Implantation bleeding would most likley take place around 1 week after ovulation. If you are three days late for your period and have only spotted (no heavy bleeding) then I would take a test. A lot of women feel normal period symptoms and have spotting during their early pregnancy. It is actually quite normal. If you have already taken a test I would wait a few more days to see if your spotting stops or increases to a normal flow. If it stops and you never get a normal period I would take a test or see your Dr...you may be pregnant. Also, try to remember that a lot of women get their normal periods throughout their pregnancy and it is completely normal. Good Luck!!!!
