I agree....it sounds like something out of east chicago......if you live in a trailer, then go with it. But, if you prefer something more classy and upscale, dump the name.

Tiara means "a three-tiered crown". To be honest I don't really like that name but it's just my opinion. I would suggest you go to babynamesworld.com They have a large selection of names with some deep beautiful meanings.
Lee is a good middle name especially when it's in the family.
Here's some of my fav.
Anastasia, Amelia, Alexandra, Jessica, Victoria, Christiana or Christina(e) , Natalia(e), Juliana or Julienne, Daniella(e), Catherine(a), Isabelle(a), Elizabeth, Gabrielle (a), Abigail, Naomi, Phoebe, Evangeline(a), Rachel, Diana, Makayla or Mikayla, Sarah, Emma, Leah, Eve(a), Esther, Ruth, Rebekah, Stephanie(a), Hannah. They sound so feminine, strong & elegant names for girls that will become women one day.

It's okay, but when I think Tiara I think of the shiny thing you wear with a wedding veil. A little over the top.
I like Tara Lee or Terena Lee or Tyra Lee.

I've never understood how a name sounds 'black' unless you name the child Black, I think that it's a bunch of BS. I like Tiara Lee, I like the fact that it's a tradition in your family. My grandmother's name is Elizabeth(Betty), my mom's name is Elizabeth Ann and she goes by Annie, it skipped me and now my 2 yr olds name is Emma Elizabeth.

I am really sorry, this may sound cruel but isn't Tiara one of Cleo Rocco's alternative personalities? Caused a big kerfuffle in the Big Brother house when she was harassing Dirk dressed up as Tiara. It strikes me a chav name, like Princess or Angel.

The spelling Lee is for boys, you could try Leigh.
Tiara reminds me of Tiara Banks and the nest top model.
I think it is more of an African American name then Caucasian.
But hey if you and your husband like it, and agree on it, then go for it. After all it is your baby and other people will come to like name if they don't already.

I knew a girl named Cambria in middle school. She was super sweet but kids would always tease her. I was constantly sticking up for her. She was never made fun of for her name from what I could remember... Mainly teased for what she wore. I could think of names a whole lot worse then Cambria, I think it's decent. Just nothing I'd seriously consider naming my children.

It sounds just fine. Black or white. Either way. But I'd spell Tiara T'ara.

I'm usually not fond of "noun" names...but this is okay.
*sings*
"...but nobody doesn't like Tiara Lee"
Let's just hope that ad campaign is long forgotten by the time she gets to school.
