The blurb on the box of our microwave steriliser says between 3-4 hours.

Considering a baby would put literally anything and everything in their mouths from 6 months on, I wouldn't be too worried about bottles being completely sterile, unless of course you're keeping the milk/liquid in it over that length of time. But you're not supposed to do that anyway.

Others have answered this well, I would add though that if you are using a milton steriliser then do not rinse it under the tap after you're sterilised it or it makes the whole process pointless as you've made it un-sterile again immediately.

first of all, congratulations! i'm due in 10 days and recognize precisely how those questions can rattle your ideas until eventually you come across out the solutions. The 'sparkling freak' that is popping out in you on the on the spot must be called, 'nesting.' you'll finally end up washing your infant's clothing and different products as a lot as you could and as early as you could. it truly is totally regular. it truly is totally high-quality to sterelize your bottles now because the little you ought to come early; the finest 4 weeks is fairly unpredictable. i'd pass ahead and sterilize them lower back after 4 weeks have surpassed and also you're nonetheless pregnant. it is because, searching on the position you save the bottles, relies upon on in the experience that they are nonetheless sterile. ie) storing in a cabinet with dirt and insects that would nicely be recent... you not in any respect recognize! so a lengthy way because the dummies, i'd save them in a sterilized tupperware bin until eventually you opt for them. solid success!

You honestly don't have to sterilize the baby bottles. Just wash them with hot water. People used to have to sterilize because the water wasn't necessarily clean everywhere.

We sterlise two bottles every morning for school (don't put any liquids in - just send the empty bottles to school) and it lasts about three / four hours. Make sure you close it really tightly. With formula/ milk and keeping it in the fridge, up to 12 hours

Around 6 to 8 hours (although it is up to 12 hours if kept sealed and no air goes into it)
