I've heard that it's very possible to get pregnant even being off the pill for the first time. If you are one of these people, can you tell me if you felt any symptoms? I'm in this situation and have been experiencing (for almost 2 weeks) extreme nipple sensitivity and on and off nausea (it hits me at random times). I've also had very light cramping for about a day and a half and after sex with my husband, I had noticed I had had some very light brown spotting (which I haven't seen since). My period is due in about 3 days.

I got pregnant while ON the pill!
My symptoms were like really bad PMS - very tender breasts, lots of water retention, I didn't have much nausea (thankfully).

One of my best girl friends got off the pill and 14 days later when she ovulated she got pregnant with her first baby. She had never been pregnant so she didn't know the symptoms but she felt rendom nausea, cramping and brown spotting. The she missed her period. Sometimes people just get lucky like that!! Good Luck

Hi, I got off the pill in Jan 05 and a month later got pregnant. I am now 10 weeks with my second child, and even tho I never spotted with the first child, spotted with this pregnancy. I started experiencing symptoms 2 weeks after concieving It started with frequent urination and spotting. SO, it is possible to get pregnant immediately after getting off the pill, which is why doctors tell u it is important not to skip a pill, becauuse it's still possible to concieve. Good luck!

It sounds very much like you may be pregnant. Some home pregnancy tests can be used 5 days before your period is supposed to come, so you could buy that. I totally had cramping after sex when I was pregnant. I got pregnant the same month that I quit the pill. Good luck.

I was on the pill for 15 years and I became pregnant within the first few weeks I stopped taking it.

The pill only stays in your system for about 7 days, so it is very possible to get preg. almost immediately after stopping them.

You can get pregnant ANY TIME when having unprotected sex.

yeah it is possible....I missed a pill by one day and got pregnant with my son.
