I'm twelve days late last time i had my period was on Dec. 28 and it skip the month of January everytime i eat something i seem to get hungry even faster then before and when i do eat sometimes it seems as if i haven't eaten anything because my mouth feels num and it has no taste.

I live in Georgetown, Kentucky and I am thinking about quitting my job to babysit in my home. I hate my desk job and I love working with children. (I worked in a daycare for 2 years and have been babysitting for about 10 years.) I've looked into this previously so I'm not really looking for 'How To.' I know about licensure, child/adult ratio, etc. I'm just wondering - in your experience - what were the pros and cons to doing this type of work? My biggest concern at this point is about getting sick, having a family emergency, wanting to take a vacation, that kind of thing. It won't be as easy to do since the parents would just be stuck if I wasn't available. Any advice or suggestions? Thank you!

Lately, I've been feeling like I just want to get away by myself somewhere without my child and without my husband. I have even cried. I just want some time alone to think and relax. I don't get that often because everyday I get up, I tend to my child, I clean, I cook and when my husband gets home I have to deal with him. Some days he's not in a good mood when he gets home. He does show affection towards me at times, and I do love him, but I'm tired and worn out. My husband is in the Navy, and he just got back from a six month deployment a few months ago. Now, he tells me that he will be going to Cuba for six months in April. I will be left alone again with our child. Our son is 16 months old and he has a temper, and I'm feeling mostly frustrated with him. At times I think he must hate me because I take things from him that he shouldn't have. Today I took him to daycare for a break, and later I wished he could've stayed there. I feel like I'm at my wits end. What should I do?

My sister had a tummy tuck about six years ago and she is about to give birth - her tubes were tied but doctor claims that is not 100% - as we can see in her case it was not - so unfortunately she became pregnant and of course as she is against abortion decided to have her baby - she has had no complications but we wonder how her tummy will look after delivery whether it be c-section and/or natural - the doctor said that as she only gained 10 pounds during the entire pregnancy and her stomach did not stretch out too much - most probably she still has most of her elesticity (I think I spelled this word wrong) and that her stomach will actually stay looking pretty good, but she is looking for personal experiences if any.

I am 38 weeks and my head is killing me all the sudden...Please do not tell me to call the doctor or go to the ER I just want to know if anyone else has had this. My eyes are acting kinda weird and I am seeing what looks like little fans in my left eye, floaters, but in the shape of spinning fans. This is my first pregnancy and I listen to my body and my body is not telling me it is an emergency because the eye thing happened before but it went away. It has gone away this time but now I just have a splitting headache. My blood sugar and blood pressure have always been great and we haven't had any concerns so far. I was just wondering if anyone had really bad eye problems that came and went within 30 minutes and had a headache that followed, if so what did you do or how long did it last????

I have one already and he has two from his previous marriage...we now want one together, but...I cant seem to get pregnet! Okay I was wondering how a doctor figures out your due date...Lates say I got pregnant this month...The first day of my last period was January 30th....lets say at the end of the month I find out i'm pregnant...how would the doctor figure out what day i concieved on.....

My reasoning is because I just picked up a new insurance...Yesterday and it was affective yesterday...now I have two insurances one to pick up what the other won't...I got it through the university and then my work...anyways...i'm not pregnant now, but I just want to make sure they wont consider this pre consisting??
please any opinions would be appreciated!!

Personally I think there is nothing sweeter than watching your child sleeping. They look so perfect and angelic it makes you wish you could keep them young forever. My two boys are ages five and 19 months. Do other moms have this feeling too?
