I will be in school when I have the baby, I only go 3 days a week for about 4 hours a day. What is the soonest you think I will be able to go back to school?

It depends on what kind of birth you have , if you have a csection you will have to wait a lil bit before you can go back to class while if you have it natural you could be back within 2 days. If its possible see if you can just get your work sent home to you in case you have a csection and cant get right back to school

For comfort or medically? If you don't have a c-section and you don't have a lot of pushing you could probably comfortably sit for 4 hours a day (with some padding) a full week later. But it does take some time to recover. I'd probably give it two full weeks though. Good Luck.

Well, my friend's crazy, but she she gave birth on a Thursday and went back to school the following Monday. She said she had finals, but still... she's crazy. I guess it depends on you and how you feel - physically AND mentally ready to go back and undertake classes, assignments, projects, and exams all the while having to deal with a baby at home.

As soon as you feel you can. I know girls who go right back to work, some others have problems walking after delivery and need a few weeks.

Physically, the next day. Emotionally, that will depend. Get lots of sleep.
