........Why do we also have the highest infant mortality rate in the civilized world ( in the US) ?

And if you were to say assumingly "no prenatal care", what does that have to do with anything?

greeneyeddevil: meaning the 'civilized WESTERN world".

and to the other one: the point is not moot since many of those things you meantioned ARE controversially related to vaccines, the rest of whatever you stated to do with prenatal care makes no sense.

who cares, it's good that more of our babies die, there are going to be too many people eventually. If we can delay the inevitable for a couple more years I'm cool with it. The rest of the civilized world should be thanking us and finding out how we do it.

Well, we also have the most aggressive invasion from a 3rd world nation too. It's contributed to huge jumps in infant mortality, tuberculosis and other diseases.

No prenatal care would mean that there a A LOT of women out there who just don't care enough to avail themselves of the free and low cost prenatal care available in this country. They are more worried about picking up their next welfare check and/or their next fix.

Actually it has to do with the statistic of children that are immigrating to the US and not being properly vaccinated from the get go. If a child dies in the US although not from the US they are still counted as a US statistic. This in turn makes our mortality rate jump. Why this is I am not sure. Hope this helped!

You're trying to correlate two things that aren't really related to one another. The major causes of infant mortality in developed countries are congenital malformation, infection, and SIDS. The most common cause of infant mortaility around the world is dehydration from diarhea. None of those things can be linked to vaccinations, so your argument is moot.

Actually, we are nowhere near the worst. We have less than 1/4 the infant mortality rate of china. Stop buying into media hype.
