Red-haired children are absolutely beautiful! Why do you fret such a rare occurance? At least the child was born with hair because most are born bald or with very little at all. My little nephew has red-hair and is always admired by people everywhere we go. Also...did you know that red hair is one of the most desirable color for most women over 25? Not too sure on men, but I would date a gorgeous guy with sexy Red hair in a heart beat! What a lucky kid!!!

It sounds to me like you are not sure that you are the father of this child. If you are questioning whether or not you are the father of the child, it is in your best interest to arrange for paternity testing IMMEDIATELY. This way, you can lay all uncertainty to rest and find out whether the child is yours or not and either come to terms with your child's hair color or decide upon the best course of action to pursue if your wife has been banging other guys and it is some other man that impregnated your wife and fathered this child.

I think that is so rude! why are you saying sick if its your kid! I love red heads there so pretty when they grow up! I wish i had red hair you should be happy for you and your wife god has sent you a beautiful child! and your saying sick? shame on u!

I have naturally red hair, and no one else in any of my families have it. i feel very special and unique, and always stand out in a crowd,it's great,I love it. I have always my whole life been complemented on it,and had others tell me how much they wish they had it. I got teased as a kid, but from the little boys who had crushes on me! Never had a problem getting a boyfriend and keeping them,I was always the dumper not the dumpee ha ha ha!

i dont understand what the problem is, you have to remember that that baby is a part of you and usually the parents form a strong bond with the child no matter what the baby looks like, nobody wants to hear a father talk about his newborn like that!

my daughter was born with light brown hair,it turned strawberry blonde when she was about a month old,light blonde by the time she was 1 and now at 4 she is light brown again..so dont worry hair color can change

Red hair is a recessive gene, your baby must've expressed that gene. My aunt and uncle both have blond and black hair respectively, and my cousin has red hair!

why is that sick? you should be happy for yourself and your wife. you have been blessed with a child. don't worry about your child's hair. there are more important things for you to worry about.

For your information having a red head is like having a rare diamond...only 4% of the entire world population has naturally red hair. Consider yourself lucky...
I wish my daughter has red hair like me.
