My sister had a tummy tuck about six years ago and she is about to give birth - her tubes were tied but doctor claims that is not 100% - as we can see in her case it was not - so unfortunately she became pregnant and of course as she is against abortion decided to have her baby - she has had no complications but we wonder how her tummy will look after delivery whether it be c-section and/or natural - the doctor said that as she only gained 10 pounds during the entire pregnancy and her stomach did not stretch out too much - most probably she still has most of her elesticity (I think I spelled this word wrong) and that her stomach will actually stay looking pretty good, but she is looking for personal experiences if any.

Yes, she only gained 10 pounds during her pregnancy - and her baby is presently 7.5 pounds and will deliver on Wednesday - her first baby, she gained 7 pounds but this was before her tummy tuck... every women's weight gain is different . . .

Everyone is different and it depends on her elasticity. As for a doctor doing a tummy tuck without your consent???? I'm sorry but I work in the OR and if a doctor does that kind of a procedure without a patients consent he can be reprimanded for it and have his license taken away. He has to get permission first because if he does any other procedure then what he went in there to do and something goes wrong then he can be sued becasue the patient did not sign a consent form for that procedure.

OK first of all your sister Dr. did not say any thing about her gaining only 10 pounds that does not seem to be right and about the way her stomach will look it all depends on every women and how big her stomach gets my sister in law was told she can't have kids so she had her tummy tuck and less then 8 month after surgery she got pregnant with my niece and her tummy looked as if she never had it done but that does not mean that your sister will have the same thing my sister in law gained 35pounds .

I quite doubt it. first of all you may choose 2 diverse docs to finish 2 diverse operations especially a lot collectively. also maximum coverage organizations do not conceal beauty surgical operation expenditures, if any do. that is something you should pay for out of pocket because it really is senseless surgical operation. Too undesirable it is probably not done because you're already all open and such interior the first position. Oh yet another element..for the area you may nicely accept an section and saved conscious. For a tummy tuck you would prefer to be placed less than that is a diverse anesthetic.

I have had 2 c-sections...and both times gained 80 lbs...did not ask the dr. to but at that time he basically gave me a tummy tuck..he pulled the skin very tightly before restictching it and literrally cut off like 2-3 inch wide "filet" of skin, it was great, and did not take him but maybe 30 seconds longer...I didn't ask him to he just did...maybe she could ask her dr. to cut away the extra skin...!!!! worked for me,,,I am 50 now, 2 c-sections tummy still flat...luck break for me...!!! and no $...
