ok i started taking the depo shot after my son was born because i am really young and i cant have any more kids and i lost my job and my insurance went with it so i stopped taking it they told me it could take up to 3 months to get regular periods back and its been six months since i was supposed to get my last shot so its been out of my system for six months and i havent had my period yet not even a little spotting is this normal what should i do

My husband is adopting my son. My son loves my husband but sometimes he askes for his real dad. A couple of times I called his dad and toled him but he wants to have nothing to do with him all he cares about is doing the adoption so he dosnt have to pay child support. When he dose see him its for like 45 minutes every two months. Its hard on my son for him to come in and out of his life but If i tell him he can never see him than I feel like im failing my son. When he askes for him I just tell him he livs far away I dont know what else to say. Hes to young to understand. I feel like telling his dad ether to be in his life or out of it not in between. My mom says that any little time with his dad is good. I think that its worse for him to have his dad come in and out of his life like that. He calls my husband daddy. What do you think I should do?

9mo. old won't sleep. I've tried putting him tobed with full tummy, music, not so full of tummy, after bath, nothing seems to work. He will sleep soundly if he's being held or in mom and dad's bed, but will only last for a short time like20-30 min for nap and sometimes 2-3hrs at night then after that he's up. I've also tried letting him cry for a bit, but that just seems to wake him up mor the longer he cries. Any ideas on what might help?

I really need some advice...... I am 27 and I have been with my boyfriend who is 26, for a year. we live together and are basically a typical/normal happy couple. I just found out yesterday that I am 4 weeks pregnant. When I told him he just said that he was not ready to have "another kid" LET ME EXPLAIN- he was in the army and when he was 22 he got married and had a son...... his son lives 1000 miles away and comes to visit every two months for two months. when he is here i treat him like my own (i dont have any children yet however) but i treat him like he was mine. My boyfriend is a very very good father and it breaks his heart because he blames himself for this unique situation.
He does not want to have another baby right now because he says he is not ready. I am really "not sure" if I can go through with an abortion.....I am a college grad. he is an army grad with a good career in a hospital. he says the main reason for not wanting a baby right now is financial reasons. between the both of us we make about 75,000 yearly. I am pro-choice and I have always felt strongly about being married before you have children...........however we have talked about marriage before this and we love each other very much why cant we have this baby......

I have never been pregnant before, i made the appointment today for the abortion one week from today...... I dont know what to do?????

My son has been playing guitar for a year, and has just been told his guitar will not work properly. He has also been told it is much easier to buy a new guitar, so he requested about 1000 dollars from me to buy a guitar, and a full set for it. He has researched the guitar, and the money he has, was given for birthday occasions and holidays.

My little girl is due April 21st, and the name I have chosen for her is Scarlett Rose. There's a couple of reasons behind that.

#1 - The red rose is my favorite flower, and most people know scarlett is another term for red.

#2 - Scarlett as in Scarlett O'Hara from Gone With The Wind (one of my favorite movies)

I am definately going with the name but I just want more opinions on it to see how other people react to her name :)

Hello, My name will be Pat for today. Im 52 years old and my 14 year old son has serious phsycological problems. Since he was young his father used to back him up when i tried to punish him. For the last few years since his father died I have tried the same. My sisters and brothers have tried to warn me but I have finally realized that I am in trouble. Just yesterday he wanted to fight me and actually swung. I used a chair to defend my self. --My son has all kinds of problems. From social to anger etc. I guess he is traumetized from his childhood. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO. He thinks he can take on anyone (fight) but he actually cant. He disrispects EVERYONE.

My nephew will not drink any water (only soda and milk) and will not eat meat (exept for mcdonalds chicken nuggets and hotdogs), His mom does not argue with him and allows him to continue eating and drinking like this. Earlier i asked for input on names i had in mind for a baby boy, due march 29th. I listed my childrens names, and i got feedback on what people thought of their names. My little girl is only 4 months old and I haven't gotten my period since she is was born. I gave up breastfeeding at 6 weeks, so surely it should have returned by now? Recently we had a condom break so I'm worried I could be pregnant again.

I had an ultrasound last week though to check for PCOS and the sonographer didn't say anything. Surely they would tell me if I was pregnant? Or would they just leave that for my doctor?

I'm so confused....hubby is adament he isn't ready for another baby...

I just found out that I had a miscarriage. I wasn't sure if i was pregnant or not... My doctor had told me not to worry about it that my urine test said negative so to forget about it. I knew my body so I continued to act as if I was pregnant. I have been eating healthy staying away from smoking and drinking and taking prenatal vitamins like my nurse suggested. Two days ago I woke up with the most horrible pains and I passed out yesterday and had to go to the ER. I had a miscarriage. I'm angry that my doctor was so short and hateful with me... she told me I wasnt and wouldn't listen to me. I am in so much pain...physically and emotionally. I don't know how to handle this. The worst part of this is the dad is gone. He is in the navy on a 6 month tour to North Korea and Japan. I want him to know but I dont know if I should tell him or not. I could contact the red cross but I dont know how that works. Thanks for listening, I think I just needed to vent and ask for support

My daughter is 4 months old and I have breast fed her since the day she came home. When she falls asleep she is usually at the breast.When i put her in her own bed at night she instantly wakes up and starts screaming I have tried to let her "cry it out" but she scream for hours. everyone is telling me to let her fall asleep on her own but she wont and its so hard for me to hear her scream like that. any ideas about what I should do? how can I help her fall asleep with my breast? I know she is not"spoiled" because it is a proven fact you can NOT spoil a baby this age.... Everyone is telling me to do different thing. People say do NOT let her cry her self to sleep she is to young and ... she will grow up not as loving as she would be if I hadn't let her cry .... im also scared to let her cry it out because the baby book says it makes them not trust that you will be their for them.. so when they grow up they are very insecure .
