It's because some women just have irregular cycles. I had irregular cycles until I was 25. It was typical for me to miss periods for several months at a time. Don't worry it's normal. However if it really bothers you talk to your doctor. He can prescribe birth control pills to regulate your periods.

There are a lot of things that could cause you to miss a period. A change in exercise (more or less of it) change in diet. Pregnancy but sense you are a virgin we don't have to worry about that one. It could be contributed to illness, but if you feel fine other wise, it is not anything to panic about. Is there a lot of new stress in your life? New friends? Any of these things could cause a disruption in your cycle. I'm am going to assume you are young and as such, you probably have nothing to worry about however, you should discuss this with your mother or other trusted adult, and make an appointment to see a doctor. They will probably due a pelvic exam (again I don't know how old you are so I don't know if you have had that done before) the first time is a little strange, but nothing painful or anything to be scared of. I hope this puts you at ease. Good luck. I'm sure you will be fine.

There could be a few reasons for that... First you still could be pregnant. If you are only a "virgin" because the penis did not penetrate you that doesn't mean that you couldn't be pregnant if you did any "rubbing" on the outside of your vagina. Sperm can live on the labia and actually make it all the way to impregnant you. Rare, but it can happen.
Or you are just having a hormonal thing going on right now and you have not regulated yet into a regular cycle.

Go to the doctor ... don't guess at what might or might not be wrong. There are many reasons your cycle could be off but only your doctor can tell you what is going on for sure. If you haven't had sex you are a virgin. Stop guessing and asking strangers about 'your body' ... you are unique and no answer is going to relieve your mind unless it is from a qualified professional. Good luck.

Depends on the age that you are. Some girls it is very common to get sporadic periods. I know it's very common when you're in your early teens, & I have some friends now who go almost 2 months as well & they're in their 20's. I wouldnt be too worried, because everyones body is different. If i were you, then I would just google it & just reassure myself.
Ps: I soO wish I had your problem... Mine seem to miss me soO much that they come earlier every month! haha

sometimes this can happen when you lose weight...is this the case with you? You should definitely see a Dr., not because I think there is something really wrong, but just to make sure, and the put your mind at ease (you're obviously concerned)...maybe you are deficient in a vitamin or nutrient, and then you can fix the problem easily...it is always best to talk to a Dr. or nurse...good luck!

Stress and/or weight loss can affect your period. Also there could be reason to see a doctor, if you don't have your next period I would suggest going to a doctor to make sure everything is okay.

Well, I think we can rule out pregnancy as you are still a virgin. Have you been excessively stressed lately?...or had an infection?...those are a couple more reason you may have missed your period. But I would talk to your doctor about it.

periods are often very irregular for the first year or two. Stress, lots of exercise, extreme dieting or sudden weight loss can also cause your period to be out of whack.

well if you are asking if you are pregnant then the answer is no, many people often experience a missed period, it can be due to rapid weight loss, excessive exercise, etc. but if you don't get it next month then go to the doc and get it checked out.
