I did the crazy cleaning, rearranging of furniture, pulled everything out of the baby's closet so I could clean the shelves and rewash everything that may have touched anything dirty. And nothing was dirty trust me, I was just nutty with the nesting instinct.

Oh my god, I cooked like mad too! I prepared meals from scratch then froze them so we would have good home cooking to microwave! I cooked and filled up my freezer to the max. I knew I'd have no time to make dinners, so I had about a months worth in the freezer! Yeah, I know they sell frozen food, but I was nutty with the nesting thing.

I also did two huge paintings to hang in his room, about a week before he arrived is when I STARTED them. I got them done and hung them on the wall the morning we went to have the baby!

The minute I found out I was pregnant I went nuts decorating, buying clothes, stroller, you name it. Then I relaxed for about 8 months then I went totally cuckoo the last weeks.

Hey Question Lady, I LOVE that you cleaned the vacuum! That's hilarious!!

as quickly as i replaced into watching infant clothing with Lottie in her buggy next to me (she could have been approximately 7 months i think of). I grew to become to envision on her and caught this lady wheeling the buggy away down the aisle so as that she could desire to get a extra effective seem on the clothing on the backside shelf! I had a superb bypass at her! What makes somebody think of they are in a position to purely push a infant in a buggy midway down an aisle without asking the mummy? If she had mentioned something i might thankfully have moved the buggy out of her way. some persons are morons.

We were going to be getting stationed at a new base soon. We'd saved all kinds of money for new furniture so I looked at the base floor plans. Then I made so many copies of the floor plans on graph paper and designed my whole house. I know, it was goofy, but I wanted to plan it all out for our son's arrival. I was so excited for everything to happen. My husband was also deployed so I did a lot of organizing and packing boxes--about 6 months before we were going to move! Needless to say I was ready to get the heck out of that house. It all went to waste though [except the packing] because we didn't even get the house I thought we were--our new house is 10 times nicer!!

The morning I woke up with contractions, I had the overwhelming urge to scrub the bathroom grout with a toothbrush and bleach. I was on my knees for hours, taking breaks when I had contractions, then getting right back to work. I scrubbed that poor toothbrush into splinters. The funniest part was that I thought this was completely reasonable behavior!

Painted and redecorated the entire house, did ridiculous "crafty" things like make a hand made three tier canopy, scrubbing behind the toilet is a fun thing to do.

Thoroughly cleaned my house - washed walls, ceilings, light fittings, floors, windows, curtains, etc. Shampooed my carpets & rugs. Mowed the lawns, hedged the shrubs in the garden, pulled out old plants & planted new ones. Washed the cars, boat, jet ski's, motorbike. Polished the cars& motorbike. Cleaned out mine & my husband's wardrobes & gave everything we didn't need anymore to charity. Went jet-skiing to bring on baby when I was overdue (it worked!)

Resodded the entire backyard (dragging around fill dirt and sod in wheelbarrow) so the baby would have a nice place to play. I was nine months and huge and my husband freaked plum out.
