I use the same kind and my 3 month old has terrible gas! When we goto the ped. next month, I am going to ask if I can change it. He was on it because he was a preemie, but he is 12 pounds now and very healthy! Ask your doctor if you should switch too.

I don't use the neosure, but Similac(which I use) and all types of formula seem to cause a lot of bad gas. Especially if it's the powdered kind, you have to shake it really, really hard to get all the powder to mix in, which puts all those tiny air bubbles in there. I say try simethlicone( aka mylicon or the store brand, wal-mart brand is way cheaper and the bottle is twice the size of a mylicon bottle) You can actually watch it work, it'll start taking the bubbles right out as soon as you put it in. We use 3 drops in a 6 oz. bottle. The great thing about it is that it doesn't absorb into the bloodstream, so it's totally safe to use. It makes it easier to burp, or come out the other end, lol, for baby. Also try burping her more when she's eating, we have to burp my 7 week old about every 3/4 ounce, she doesn't like it, but it helps her in the long run. Good luck to you and your little one!
