rest rest rest!!! Lots of clear liquids if your tummy is upset, too. Ask your doc, they may let you take robitussin DM, mine did, when I was preggers. As for your mis, I'm sorry that happened to you before...but sadly, they will not see you until at least your 10 week check up even with a history of a mis, since that is the most vulnerable time you can have one (first trimester) and there really isn't anything they can do. It sucks being sick AND pregnant, been there done that, but hang in there, it WILL get better!!!

Unfortunately, you are in a time frame in your pregnancy- the 1st tri-mester when you limited to medications that you can take, if any. I would make sure that I drink plenty of fluids, even if only a sip every 15 mins or so. I am sure you are quite miserable, pregnancy drains you and makes you tired, top that off with a cold and it is horrible. Basically, and I am sorry to tell you, all you can do it wait it out at this point. I would continue running steam in the shower, also try drinking the fluids hot. Any type of soup would be a good idea to help and try to move the mucus so you will breathe easier.
Good luck, sweetie.

I don't know but I feel your pain. Just wait untill you are 8.5 months pregnant...that is true misery. As for eating healthy, I know that healthy eating is far more expensive which I think should be against the law. The medical field complains about all the money dished out on unhealthy lifestyles yet many people do not have a whole lot of chioce. Just do the best you can and take vitamins.......Good Luck

There is no magical answer for you, I'm sorry to say. You need to just relax, get a heating pad (that always helps), deep breath some steam from a pan of boiling water....take hot hot showers, and just sit, let the hot water sooth you. Being pregnant doesn't help, I'm sure....but that has no magical answer either. Just do what you can, rest, and take each day at a time. Congrats on your baby...I hope all goes well.

If you are able to or if you can hire someone have them clean the house from top to bottom.
Make sure you have washed you pillows and everthing on your bed. If you can have the carpet and the furniture cleaned also.
The 'cold' might still be in your house.
If you can for a few and its not that cold out open a window for an hour or two.
Good Luck.

This might sound like a stupid answer, but have you tried nasal spray???? That can clear you up so quickly!!!!
And I know it sounds really really weird, but whenever I have a cold, I buy those listerine pocket strips, they clear up my nose so fast too!!!!
Buy a humidifier and keep that on, that will keep moisture in the air so you don't dry up, and try the listerine pocket things......
Good luck!

its hard to find meds when your pregnant, when you in bed have lots of pillows to prop you up so you dont get to congested. try sucking lots and lots of lockets or cough sweets. try also getting a flannel and soak it in cold water then drape across your face, i find this wonders for a cold , just lay there and relax. i know its hard though, i have bad chest infection while i was pregnant, you just have to grit and bare it until it passes.

Call your doctor....maybe they can bump up the appointment....
Go to an urgent care center or free clinic ....your problem is not pregnancy it's probably an acute viral infection but may be something more. have it checked out.
