My 3 year old son cries about everything. He's been like this, well...since I can remember. If his sock is crooked, he cries, if he has snot on his nose, he cries...if he can't get his toy to work, he breaks down...everything little thing sets him off! He cries even when no ones around to see it or to help him. I've tried ignoring, time out and spanking...he never gets what he wants when he cries for it...I make him stop crying and ask like a big boy first. Still to no avail...I'm out of ideas to help him. I also have a 5 year old and one year old. The eldest responds well to discipline and both children are extremely happy. My 3 year old is never happy...I have to make him smile at me just to see a happy face. What is going on? I've asked myself...am I rewarding this behavior? What payoff is he getting out of this? I just can't figure it out. My husband and I try to be consistent with our discipline. I'm a stay at home mom who is with my kids constantly...what is going on? HELP!

Im 5 months pregnant and have a general healthy diet, lots of fruit, breat, potatoes, chicken etc. I don't drink or smoke. Tonight my husband and I are going out to celebrate his new job with a thai meal. Tomorrow I am having a meal with friends in an Indian restuarant. Is this really bad???? I dont do it often? Also what sort of meals are healthiest?

My boyfriend and I had protected sex and 3 days later I took Plan B. 6 days after taking Plan B, I got my period, which was 3 weeks early. Do I count my ovulation from the day I started my second period? And also, 20 days after my second period, we were messing around and get got inside me, but only for a couple of seconds. Do you think that my chances of being pregnant are high? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

flu virus fever...her doc said... she is 6 yrs old .fever a little during the day at night is when it goes up..to about 103 no higher she been doing this since late wensday and today its friday how much longer will she be running this fever her doc said it should be gone by monday at the latest ...just worried about her,.// asking others helps,,lol ok thank you all for the answers...

I've done lots of baby showers and am running out of games. A co-worker put me in charge of planning the games for another co-worker's shower. Any ideas? We'll be in a restaurant, so we can't get too physical or loud.

My 1 month old baby girl never finishes a complete 4 oz bottle so I tend to save the formula and combine the leftovers for later. She seems very gassy though for a baby and she's been running a low temp for several days now. Could this be because I save the formula and then give it to her later? Does formula go bad after say 6 hrs in the fridge?

i have been trying to get my daughter off the bottle on to a sippy. she wont drink it at all unless i switch the nipple back on. ...

also i have been trying to give her cold milk instead of warm. but she wont take it. she it used to getting warm milk since she has been getting it since she was a baby

if she sees milk in someting else instead of a bottle she wont take it at all.

any advice would be great!!!

I wanna know who I should call/talk to if I think I know of some kids that are getting abused. I mean not physically abused, but like their parents dont give them baths, they get ignored, their mom is so damn lazy, that even though her son is old enough to eat solid she gives him milk in a bottle. AND when they act bad, the dad locks them in their room all day and they use the bathroom on themselves ect. Who should I call? Can I remain anonamous?

I took her to the Dr's about 3weeks ago and they gave us Fucidin cream and diproBase cream. Within 48 hours it was virtually gone and I thought that was the end of it. However, it's flared up again and is even worse than before. The cream doesn't seem to be working anymore. She's got 2 huge patches on the inside of both her thighs and lots of little patches down her legs and around her buttocks.
It's very red & inflamed, raised up and extremely dry, almost scaley. It's very sore and sometimes itchy.
Has anyone experienced something similar & got any tips for something that might shift it?

They are 11 and 12--2 boys, and It is like they don't want to do anything as a family and then when we all get the chance to, it always turns into a screaming match and everybody is upset!

I was told today i may have gestational diabetes, i have to go in on Mon to take the three hour test to see for sure. I want to make sure i am doing things right until then with my eating and all (by the way i am in no way shape of form overweight). Does anyone have any good recipes i can try or know what foods i can and can't eat...? I looked on the internet, but they never jsut give you a list of the good and bad foods. Help me...
