If it's not gone by Monday, I would call the doctor back and ask to get her on some sort of antibiotic. I do hope it subsides, I am personally experiencing one of my worst years for viruses and for the 2nd day in a row had to call in to work (haven't missed in 5 years.) Do what you can at home, keep a cool washcloth, popsicles, hard candy, ice-chips. These are all things that can help.

If it is influenza then antibiotics will do nothing, and antivirals, in addition to not really being needed are generally only effective if started within 24 hours of contracting the flu.

What is the Flu?
The flu is something that we get only a few times in a lifetime. It is not an illness that affects the gastro intestinal tract, and does not cause stomach upset or nausea.
The so called stomach flu is not caused by influenza!
The influenza virus is characterized by the following symptoms:
sudden high fever (38° to 40° C)
headache
loss of appetite
severe muscle aches and pain
extreme fatigue and weakness
chills
dry cough
sweating
and sometimes: sore throat, runny nose, nasal congestion and sneezing.
Symptoms usually come on quickly and can last for 7 to 10 days. Many other viruses can cause the same symptoms as the flu; only a lab test can verify the actual presence of the influenza virus

i'd would desire to declare who the hell are you to settle on being there is not any information to lower back up atheists ideals besides as Christian ideals. that is all a remember of religion on the two facets. apart from, elevating young infants is an different difficulty as faith in basic terms tackles one small component of existence for a kin. some families are gothic, some are activities geared, some are books clever etc etc etc and those style of features the mummy and dad do would be indoctrinated into their young infants no remember if the youngsters have say or no longer. that's why some improve up doing the "kin" business enterprise. My factor is who're you or truly somewhat boastful to think of which you will tell any kin that the way they're elevating their young infants are incorrect. ultimately, have you ever met any young infants? infants have a ideas of their very own and frequently spend extremely some time rebelling against their mom and dad and a few against any authority figures what so ever. There are extremists on all facets and likely each and each of the extremists prefer some serious help, yet lower back this is on all facets. Even the final families with astonishing morals, values, etc no remember if non secular or no longer have their honest share of problems while elevating young infants and infrequently issues do no longer constantly finally end up the way one expects. Oh, and Hitler became in basic terms born right into a catholic kin yet as lots of you have grew to become to atheism so did Hitler. So I agree nonreligious all people is not any further acceptable then the Hitler adolescents. ***people have effects to any crimes and are known in accordance with their crimes of those effects- what's the version?? are not those too threats purely as many say that some Christians declare or threaten hell.

A fever with the flu can go for 5-7 days. Any longer than that, she needs to see the doctor again.

My sisters 3 kids have had it all week. It will run its course. After 5 days, they are all improving, slowly. Keep her on the children's Motrin for the fever and keep fluids in her so she doesn't dehydrate. Good Luck and give her kisses from your yahoo family! Hope she's feeling better soon!

My 6 year old was the same this past weekend....you should really not worry about it if your daughter is acting like she normally does...but if shes not and she looks tired you should be concerned....It could also be she's growing in a molar...my son is growing in some teeth that can be the cause of as well.
I know it can be hard being a mother.
