im 35 weeks and 1 day pregnant.i am one of those unique women (i guess you could call it unique) but i dunno..doctors dont seem too worried and they say many women have them.

but anyways i went to the bathroom about 0 minutes ago and had just some light bleeding..like a pinkish or brownish color..

does that mean labor is getting closer???

i'm hoping for a VBAC with this pregnancy. I'll be 41 weeks on tuesday. I've been patient waiting- but now am feeling "under the wire" because if I haven't gone into labor by Tuesday (feb 13) at my OB appointment- she will schedule a c-section for me at 42 weeks. I want a natural birth so bad! Anyways- i've gone weeks without being dilated or having anything more than 'menstral like cramps'... today at my appointment i was 80% effaced, -2 station and dilated to a 1. My OB said if i was dilated just a pinch more she would have been able to get her finger up far enough to strip my membranes... so hopefully she can on tuesday.. Does anyone have any suggestions of anything I can do to help my body dilate or anything? I've been taking red raspberry leaf- going to the chiropractor- dh has the old "afraid of hurting the baby' thing going- so any sex has pretty much been completely out of the question-- anyone offer up any suggestions? or just some encouragement for me??? thanks!

almost every weekend all my mom wants to do is see movies. sometimes every saturday and sunday. there are things that i want do to with her other than movies. i feel like i dont have freedom. there are weekends when i want to hang out with friends. i have a boyfriend but we're on a break for now. my birthday is coming up in a few weeks im almost 22. i want to do stuff on my own. i need to get a job. there are times when i want to say something but then there are times when im afraid of saying something. does anyone have any suggestions?

My best friend is about 5'11 and 200 pounds ( she really caries all her weight in her stomach .. small legs, etc) In the first few months she felt nausea, but did not throw up EVER! So she took a pregnancy test and it cam out negative! and another and another one.. all negative... But now she can lit. feel something moving around .. what else could it be? i feels kinda like a slow heart beat ( not saying it is a heart beat) she went to a WALK-IN-CLINIC and the women said she wasn't... she made a appt. at the obgyn... but they put it like 2 weeks away because she they think she isn't pregnant! but she hasn't had a real period scene before she left him... and i can feel movements. And also the top part of her stomach is very hard.. like there is a ball around her rib cage.. she has had a lot of discharge..ALOT .. and this morning she threw up for no reason, and she feels very hot.. dizzy.. and a really bad head ache!!! what can i do to!! why are these doc . acting this way..

If a woman got raped and then finally get the courage to tell the police about what had happend and after all the tests were done she found out she was pregnant should she
1 Have a abortion and forget it happend and try to get and with her life OR
2 Carry the baby to term knowing that you will never love it then give it up but knowing that one day the person could come looking for her wanting to know why you gave them up and having to relive the awful moment once again

Hello. About two years ago me and my fiancee lost a baby to miscarriage. She was already 12 weeks along, and the way she found out was she went to a dr. appt. alone ( i was at work, sadly) and they told her the heart wasn't beating. The next day they did a d&C. ...Now we light a candle every year, and she still cries about it sometimes, and we never got to know the babys gender. SO i was wondering if anybody knew if we were to get her medical record from the hospital if they'd be able to tell us what it was. OR if you can even tell that at 12 weeks. She really wants to know the gender so we could name OUR baby. Right now we call him/her Angel Baby. Please help me.... Now we have two little girls and we'd love to be able to tell them about their big brother or sister when they are older.

Why do parents spoil their kids? I understand parents want their kids to have things they never had. But what about morals, how about teaching them how they (parents) got to where they are. I've seen a lot of kids grow up to be really cocky, and disrespectful toward others especially if others arn't in the same class as them. I was raised "I'm not better than anyone else". Any answers or comments?

very difficult to deal with. She gets detention at school a lot for not doing her homework but when i ask her if she has any homework she lies and says no. She sometimes forgets her school books to take in for her lessons which she gets detention for. She speaks to her step-dad with no respect and she sometimes speaks to me like that as well.I have a son whos 10yrs old and a daughter whos 8yrs old (with special needs at school)and im due to give birth on 1st march and my husband is being deployed out to Basra 1st may...so im trying to get things sorted...I know my 12yr old daughter has got changes going on..with a new baby coming and her step-dad going away...Has anybody out there got any good advice....on how to make her alittle better and nicer at home and make her see how her homework from school is soooo important. Please help

My son turned 3 years old five months ago. My fiance and I have been trying to teach him how to count. We go over it and over it again.....he just does not get it. He will count like this......1,2,7....and that is all we can ever get out of him. We have layed out toys and even cookies to get him to count. But nothing has worked. He is smart enough to carry on conversations in full sentences. He can answer all questions I ask correctly. But I don't get why he can't count.

Should I hire a tutor who is an expert in teaching toddlers to come like 2 times a week??? Or is he too young for that.

NOTE: He does not go to daycare as of right now. I have been a stay at home Mom for 2 months now. But he was in daycare since he was 8 months old. He then went to preschool at 2 years old.

I have just found out i am 8 weeks pregnant and i really do not know what to do. My boyfriend went mad and told me to get a abortion. Ok, I'm Rh negative, my husband is RH positive. This is my second pregnancy, but my inquiry is about my first. I went for routine bloodwork each month. At 28 weeks they gave me Rhogam. A month later my dr called me up and said there are positives showing up in my blood. I asked what this meant, but he just told me not to worry, and it's probably nothing..just from the needle I had had the month prior.
What caused the positives to show up in my blood? My first child ended up RH positive..could it have been from my son, or just the Rhogam, does any one have any knowledge of why there would have been positives in my bloodwork..

Hi girls
just wan't to know really how long it took (as in how many weeks you were past your period being due) for your tests to come back positive?
i'm nearly 3 weeks late - and have taken a test 4 days ago but it was negative, slight cramping on one side of my stamach, blue veins over my chest and breasts plus very tired and urinating alot more! seen doctor and he says there's not much more we can do other than wait for a positive or a period to appear (which ever comes first)? he also mentioned that the blood test is just as good as the urine test is this true? as i've heard its better.
HELP! suggestions would be great as i'm so tired of seeing an negative plus its costing a fortune in tests!!!

i had bronchitis and strep throat this week, and couldnt go to school, and we can only miss 15 days, and i think today was the 15th, anyway, i feel really bad, and the kidds in my class have been talking about how i'm not gonna graduate 8th grade, and how i'm gonna fail, but i've been sick, and couldnt go to school, i feel really bad though, and today i prolly could've gone, and i wantd to but i was scared, and i mean like my nerves were bad, and i wanted to, but i just couldnt, what should i do?
