Personally, if this were to happen to me, I would not want the baby, and would have an abortion. It is a very sensitive subject though and every woman is different in the way that they would deal with it, I dont think there is a right or wrong answer, I think it is personnal to the woman involved.

Personally, I'm sure my husband wouldn't want me to carry another man's child. But I also don't know that he would want me to go through an abortive procedure. I'm not sure how I would feel about it to be honest. There is no way to tell if you will "never love the child" but if that's the case, adoption can be a good option. And in a lot of states it's hard to track down birth parents, so the latter situation could be avoided.
These are really terrible scenarios and not the only way things can go.

There is no right answer. It seems to me that you already have your mind make up though on choice number one. If I got raped, told the police, and found out I was pregnant--I honestly don't know what I would do. It would be determined on what I was experiencing at the time irregardless of the rape/pregnancy.

You cannot tell a person they what's right for them. In this case I would tell the woman to think about all of the issues and make HER decision for HER life.

That's what pro-choice is! I wouldn't think she "should" do anything except what HER heart tells her!

Just so you know, the situation could go both ways. Many victims of rape DO have their children and DO love their children. After all that child is part of them as well as the rapists. Some victims of rape give their children up for adoption and then live with the guilt and hope for their children to find them. Some victims of rape have abortions and live in guilt their entire lives.

There's no set way a person will act/react to situations as dire as this. It is up to that person to choose and I don't feel you can make that choose unless you are in that situation!

make sure the animal got prosecuted first, i think they can do tests b4 the child is born so that it can be proven that the rapist was the father,i would have to go with number one. because it would be cruel to the child if it wont be loved it didn't ask to be born. its such a horrible thing to be raped, so i would get counselling and i would take up some kind of boxing-kick boxing to get all that anger out

You know what? If it was me, it would definitely have to be option no. 1. It's not fair to bring a child into the world that is definitely not wanted. But as for forgetting it happened? Surely counselling would be needed. It would probably never be possible to forget but it would be possible to come to terms with it and move on.

3. I don't think the baby should be aborted or given up. I think that after looking after the baby and learning to love it (even if you have to go to counselling) you will not always think of the rape when you look at it. and as the baby gets older you will probably not be able to live without it therefore conquering your demons and becoming empowered. The rapist won the battle but you win the war !!!!!!

You really cannot answer this question unless you are in this situation. There are even exceptions to the abortion rule in cases of rape and incest. This decision has to be made on a case by case basis.

If i were raped and then became pregnant by that monster then i would have to have an abortion. I could not bare to pregnant for 9 months with something i did not ask for or want.

It's not the child's fault. If you abort it, you only add guilt to the mental anguish of the rape. The child may NOT come to look for you, and it would be more fair to the baby to give it a chance to live than to abort it. Even if you were forced to "relive the moment," it would be better than knowing that child never had the chance to look for you.
