I would say the chances of you being pregnant are pretty slim. If you still think you are you can always retest in a few weeks. But you having a period would mean that your not. Some women do spot a little while pregnant. But you should be able to tell the differences between a regular period and spotting. Is your period different in any way this time around??? Anyhow good luck to you.

The two indications you have are the best signs that you are not, in fact, pregnant. Of course there is the outside chance that the bleeding is being caused by the zygote implanting into the uterine lining, and that you are not producing enough hormones to test positive yet. If this were the case the best thing to do would be to test again in a week. But implantation bleeding is usually light, and does not last as long as a normal period.

why do you think you might be pregnant is the first question? many symptoms of pregnancy can relate to other things. if you had a period before you took the test then i would say no but test can be incorrect sometimes. i think that if problems persist you should talk to someone or take another test around the time your suppose to have your period. If you do have one then there is your answer.

It is still possible. If you are pregnant and the hormone did not show up on the test. one of two things are happening. Firstly, you may be miscarrying. It's very common (40% of women on their period right now are actually miscarrying and they do not even know it). Or, you may be pregnant and not miscarrying, thougyh it's unlikely. Lastly, you may not be pregnant. If you are still unsure, go to the doctor for a blood test. It still may show up negative, especially if the pregnancy is ectopic. he may decide to actually run the hormone levels to see for sure, but usually if they are too low for the urine test, they will come out to be less than 5 units per mL, meaning not pregnant.

If you are concerned see your Dr and request a blood test for pregnancy - I have had friends who had the same concern and waited too long then when they were about 4 months and felt "fat" really took it seriously. Really you know your body better than anyone and you can have a period and be pregnant. Get a blood test to be sure. Good Luck!

my test came back neg from the hospital with my one and only child. Funny thing I also had one earlier that said positive. But was not. Stress can do crazy things to the body. i even had a false pregnancy, where the body thinks it pregnant -but in fact is not. When in doubt see a doctor. Only he/she can truly help you out or be patient and wait it out.

You're just bloated. If you got your period and the test came back negative, then in all likelihood, you are not pregnant. Sorry.

It is possible...I did the exact same thing for three months and I turned out to be three months pregnant..I still had my period for three months with my first child.

If you are not sure..just go to the doctor.
Its rare but some woman do continue to have their period the full length of a pregnancy.
