i have a 16 yr old girl. She is as happy and sweet today as she was as an infant. You could tell right away that she was going to be that way. Everybody says that about her, by the way, not just me!

No there is no connection between how one behaves as a baby and how one is as a teen.

My daughter was a perfect baby. I would read baby magazines and wonder, "Those poor parents, I don't have any of these issues."

Then a divorce happened. THAT is what happened to affect my teen into negative behavior. Also, her choice in friends, but those bad decisions may have been because of the divorce, as well.

So, in my experience, it is the things/people that happen in life that affects one's personality in later life.

The sad thing is, SHE is theone dealing with it. She made really bad decisions and is now at a treatment center. But the root of her problems lie in our divorce. It is very sad. Parents need to take responsibilty and not put their libido and their own needs and wants before their vows and families.

But now a days, people get divorced without thinking much of it, thier first concern is 'Who gets what?'. SAD.

Well stress growing up effects turn out.
If their enviornment is a bad one they tend to reflect what is happening to them in their behavior. This is their way of telling us (as parents) something is wrong. Why would they (with their pride) Come strait out. We have to know when somethig is wrong because why would they tell us?

No connection here. It became more obvious when she started Kindergarten though.
