Having troulbe getting pregnant. we already have 2 kids 4 &1. Would like more but not happening and we are spending thousands of dollars with a fertility specalist. Would love to adopt your baby into a loving home with brothers ans sisters.

In the Daily mail today there is astory of child cruelty which makes me wish we had the Death penalty reinstated. A young 4 year old girl who suffered with Cerebal Palsy was subjected to such cruelty by her own parents as I have never read before. over a period of time, they broke her arm for which the child needed 7 operations, They ripped her hair from her scalp and took skin from her scalp doing this. They forced her hands under a hot tap and scalded her hands red eaw. They repeatedly kicked her on the floor as you would kick a football. During this, there were 13 home visits from Social Services and 2 Health care appointments, but nothing was reported. The last visit was on the insistance of the grandmother when the child was rushed to Hospital where she died. Strange as it may seem, no one in the Social Services is to blame as usual. No one will take responsibility for this childs death. The parents got 10 years each. I would have hung them myself.

Just curious what you stay-at-home mothers do with your toddlers and preschoolers all day? Do you have some sort of formalized "curriculum" or schedule that you do with them to teach them various things? Or do you let them decide what they want to do? I stay at home with my two boys, ages 1 & 3, and I feel really guilty all the time that I don't do any sort of formal teaching or activities with them. We really don't watch much TV; most of the time, I just let them play freely. My three-year-old is especially into playing firefighter these days. Anyway, just wondering!

I am expecting a baby in May. I also have two children ages 6 and 3. When I am off work for maternity leave I want to keep my older kids home most of the time so they don't feel neglected and to save money. But I would like to bring them to daycare a little bit so they don't get so nervous going back when I have to return to work. How many hours/day and days/week should I bring them to daycare?

I cannot believe how stupid some can be, I have read the last few weeks where people are leaving their kids in the car unattended, while they go Tanning, to the Casino and what not, and the tempertures are well below Zero. This is stupid when it is a vunerable adult (senior or disabled) or the weather isnt extreme, I lost my grandma, by some thugs that stole the car she was sitting in and dumped her in a place where no one could find her.

How can we educate people of the risks they are putting their loved ones in??? How can we educate people, they are not only neglecting and endangering their loved ones, but they could be indirectly murdering their loved ones!!!!! Over what, having to get a tan, throwing a quarter in a machine on a pipe dream, running into the store to get milk, do yourself a favor, even for 30 seconds, take that baby or family member with you!!!!

bloating...before you found out you were pregnant? i never before had mild cramping and weird pains before my period happened , only ever during it. I have a lot more disharge then normal, and i never usually had any berfore all my other periods. my breasts feel swollen and kind of sore. Please do not tell me to take a test, i am expecting myperiod in a few days now, and if i dont get it i will test.. but for now im really hoping i am..and trying to eliminate any axieties. just curious if the heavy discharge and mild cramping could be any signs. i have two kids, they are older i cant seem to remember any feelings i had.. i guess i feel as if i am, but ive said this many times before. please help ease my mind.

im 39 weeks pregnant, and my doctor has told me my baby is 3/5ths above the brim but i not sure if my baby has dropped yet as i still feel mayjor kicking under my ribs and its still increasingly hard to breathe i feel as though its sitting right under my boobs. do you think this could mean i will deliver late. any advice?

I started off at an average weight for my height (130 pounds) and I guess I have a pretty high metabolism because I have always ate whatever I wanted and not gained weight. I am now 22 weeks pregnant with my second baby and gained around 12 pounds but the problem is the last few weeks I cannot seem to get full!! I eat 4-5 times a day and still I stay hungry. What is going on and what can I eat to fill myself up so I don't stay hungry? I don't want to eat every time I get hungry because then I would be eating like every 2 hours and probably gain some eccess weight that I don't need to. Help?

My husband and i can't agree for long, on anything. We are having a baby boy in 6 weeks and 5 days. Im getting worried the poor child will be nameless!!! We have twin sons, Kodee Justin and Kaden Jeremy, but we call the first one Justin. Those names are all used so out of the running for this baby. My husbands name is Justin, middle name Marshal but we dont want to use his middle name for this baby, because Kaden would be the only one not named after daddy.
Some of our choices are:
Jackson Tyler
Landon Nicholas
Zane Tyler
Matthew Tyler, although we HATE Matt so are not sure of this one

It has been 9 1/2 months already and I still haven't had a period yet because i am still nursing my baby. When I nursed my last baby i got a period after 10 months. We really don't want to risk getting pregnant so what i want to know is ...would the temperature method work for us even though I haven't started my cycle at all yet ? If you used teething tablets on your baby, how drowsy did it seem to make him/her? How long did they sleep? Im asking because I dont want my son to sleep too much during the day, and then be up all night. I wast him to feel relief from his teeth but wonder if it is worth it.

I had my second daughter a year ago. I have been taking BC Pills since my 6 weeks postpartum check up. The pills I was on were recalled and my ob/gyn changed my prescription. I was taking the new pills and they were making me very sick. So I stopped taking them and she gave me something else. I had to wait one month before I could start them. So I started them three weeks ago and had breakthrough spotting the entire time. I am supposed to start my period Sunday, and decided to take a pregnancy test to make sure the spotting was not because I was pregnant. I saw a VERY faint line. Should I retest in three days? With my other two girls, I had a very dark line, but I tested after I was late and was not on BC pills. Anyone gotten pregnant on the pill?

The doctor advised me not to give him rice cereal until 6 months..I know that breastmilk is easily digested so they are hungry more often than a formula fed baby. Also, I know that this is considered bad, but I don't put him in his crib, he sleeps next to me in my bed free of sheets and blankets, or pilllows..but I don't feel comfortable putting him in his crib, because I can't see him and I can't make sure he's okay like I can when he is in my bed. I'm single and I don't share my bed with anyone else. People always give me crap about it..but I feel more comfortable with him next to me. Plus I breastfeed, so it's a lot easier for me too.
