im 39 weeks pregnant, and my doctor has told me my baby is 3/5ths above the brim but i not sure if my baby has dropped yet as i still feel mayjor kicking under my ribs and its still increasingly hard to breathe i feel as though its sitting right under my boobs. do you think this could mean i will deliver late. any advice?

No one will be able to say if you'll deliver late. I had an elective induction at 39 weeks and 4 days. My OB was so laid back and I was done being pregnant. I couldn't sleep due to the constant heartburn, difficulty breathing from little feet in my ribs, and unending leg cramps. I had been dialated only 2 for 3 weeks and my cervix was just about 25% effaced. I would make sure you tell the dr. how uncomfortable you are. I wish you all the luck and happiness.

I have 5 kids and 3 of them never did drop as a matter of fact they were floating when I was in the delivery room. The dr, broke my bag of water and then I delivered quicky after that. Good luck!
