If it is your first baby then this is pretty normal i believe and you could still go full term.. I hear it is less likely for baby to drop into the pelvis that early if it's you second although it can still happen so to be honest i do not think it really is a sign that you are "close" to labour but obviously you are close at 35 weeks.. Not long to go now.. I know how you feel though, currently 37 weeks pregnant with my second and really uncomfortable. I am constantly looking for signs that i am "close" to birth. Good luck! Charlie.

well, since you're 35 weeks, you're already close. as for the baby dropping and turned, mine was head down in all 5 ultrasounds from 20 weeks on and she 'dropped' at 28 weeks. she was born via c-section at 39 weeks. i'd say you've probably got a few more weeks. good luck.

Do you know if you're having a boy or a girl yet? Boys generally fall lower anyway as compared to girls and being at 35 weeks isn't bad. If you drop any lower just take it easy and try not going for walks around the block ;)
