My mom always said an acidic pH in your system will kill off the male sperm (she had 4 girls, by the way), so theoretically, using a vinegar douche just before (ehem) conception would do the trick!

I just read on line that sprem carrying X-chromosomes lives longer and swims slower than male Y-carrying sprem. Therefore, if you have intercourse about 3 days prior to ovulation, you have a better chance of conceiving a girl; and the closer to ovulation you have sex, the better chances are of having a boy

have sex 2-3 days before ovulation, not during. Female sperm live longer than males, but males are faster, so theory goes that the closer to ovulation you have sex, the more likely you are to have a boy, for a girl, have sex a few days before ovulation then don't have any more sex until after ovulation, the thought is the male sperm won't live long enough for ovulation. So all that will be left will be female sperm.

I used the Shettles method. It's based on research that says that X sperm are longer living than Y sperm. So the trick is to have sex 4 and 3 days before ovulation and then abstain for next 4 days so that when the egg is released most of the sperm that is left will be the X sperm. This has worked for me, and 2 of my friends. Of course to do this you need to have regular periods so you can track them. Women typically ovulate 14 days before their next period. I have a 31 day cycle, which means I ovulate on day 17 (I can actually feel myself ovulate so I know it's correct) so my husband and I had had sex on Day 13 and Day 14, abstained for the next 4 days. This worked the first time we tried.

If you are a guy start to wear tighter clothing to tuck the jewels closer to the body. Male sperm are weaker then female and the increase in heat (which is why those hang and move on thier own) will kill sperm. Starting with the males. Thier are several other things you can do but I don't know the validity of those mesures so I won't add them here.
by the way if your a girl, buy your man wranglers that are half size or size to small.

I have heard, that the man should be on top and he should barley inside you when he ejaculates, I heard shallow entry is what helps your chance of having a girl, funny but I heard today by someone that if you get pregnant in the winter months your chances of having a girl are better too

well as a mother of six girls i would have to say try the chinese pregnancy calendar. It determines the sex of your child by the mothers age at conception.
