I have ultrasounds every time I got to doc's for a prenatal visit. The for the last three of my appts. I was hoping to get a good view of baby's gender. My doc told me he was 70% sure it's a boy. Why do I not see anything that points to a boy? My first son we did not want to know sex, our second we did find out and he was clear as day. Now this one.... well I'm not even sure what I'm looking at lol !!! I am 30 weeks and curious if u/s is even accurate in finding baby's sex after a certain time period, and if anyone has ever been told the opposite of what they had. Thanks.

My son is 28 months old, and has mastered the art of potty training. Stays 100% dry during the day for approx. last 5 weeks. Well, for the last 2.5 weeks, he has been staying dry at night. My question is, since he hasnt been staying dry at night for long, I still put a diaper on him at bed time. I use the diapers, because I cant really afford the pullups. Well, the last two days, he has had three or four day time accidents, and I was wondering if this could be due to the fact that I put daipers on him at night, or is it just a normal regression thing. I know alot of kids will regress back to having accidents after potty training, and then go back to no accidents with no more problems. Or could the accidents be due to the fact that he has a head cold and has been sick for a few days? This may sound like rambeling, but I am a first time single mother, and have never had to potty train a child before, so im not completely sure what is normal and what is not. Am i just over thinking this?

My 6 yr old son is very energetic and intelligent. But he gets provoked easily. I hear that he does very well in school but he also fights with other children, only those who fight with him and not with silent ones. When I ask him how his day went, he lies and tells me that he never misbehaved. He is also very careless about his things. Please advise as to how I can make him realize that fighting is not allowed and that truth is very important. He does not fight with his cousins at home.

I have a almost 3 year old who has been banging his head on the walls for almost 2 years every morning nap and at night. I have taken his to phycologist who claim that it is a nerve problem, but seen a show on Dr. Phil about a little girl who was pulling her hair out and her doctors told her parents the same thing as mine told me. But his experts claim it is because they took to much away at one time, like I did to him. Bed and bottle both, so if anyone is going or went through this please help me! I am losing my mind about the constant beating on the walls!!!

when disciplining their kids? I remember when i got swatted at school for misbehaving. My dad would hit me with the belt. thats the way i learned to respect other ppl and learn from my mistakes. Nowadays you see kids talking back to te adults because they know that they cant be touched.

I was wondering what to do about my daughter, who is 3, that has a low fever of 100F (just noticed this afternoon). I gave her some Tylenol before bed, but I noticed she is tossing and turning. She doesn't seem to have any cold symptoms and hasn't complained of any 'oww-eys'. I plan on calling doc in the morning, but does anyone have any thoughts?

I never really did the baby names on the internet thing, but SO many are opposed now that I look it up...she's almost 6 now. I and she like her name. I'm not second-guessing myself!

Everyone who knows her knows her because of her name (and her drama, of course:). No one really remembers my second child's name (Logan). It's always, "How is Scotlynne and her little bro, Luke or Levi..LOL?"

Anyone esle have a little girl named Scotlynne (or other spelling)? Just interested...

I could POSSIBLY be anywhere from 2 weeks-5 or 6 weeks pregnant and I went out and partied Monday night and drank a pint and a half of jager. I don't know for sure if I'm pregnant or not (read my other questions for more info) but I was wondering if I am.. Could I miscarry now that I drank that much?

Saw a report on CNN today about a bill in South Carolina that will make it ilegel for a 21 year old to have sex with a 16 year old, but the 16 year old can have sex with their 17 year old partner and it be ok, so here is the question. What is diffrent about a 21 year old as opposed to a 17 year old if the 16 year old wants sex? Why is it OK if her partner is 17 but wrong if he is over 21? This makes no sense to me because sex is sex!

today at school, the two kids behind me in class kept shooting rubberbands at my back (and it hurt like hell). then one of them hit me in the back of the head, and then my eyes started to water, then i got up from my seat, walked to them, and punched him in the back so hard, that it couldve broken his spine if a little harder. than i moved to a different seat and sat there with red watery eyes. im scared to go to school tommorow cuz i cant figure whether people will tease me about crying, or praise me about the punch.
