in most states there are statutory rape laws. So even if the girl was consenting, she's actually not old enough to give consent, and you get in big trouble.

If you are over 18 and she is not, big trouble.

If you are in the military and you do this, you get court marshalled.

Honestly in some states, the parents don't even have to press charges, If the Government finds out you could be prosecuted weither or not, the girls parents want tp press charges. I know this because, in Ohio, My friend was 16, her boyfriend was 20, when they found out they were pregnant, she didn't want tell her parents right away, and she went to the health dept. The health Dept. are the ones that pressed charges against her BF.
Regaurdless, I would be careful if I were you right now, and as long as she's not too young(17 or older), you may be ok. I wish you the Best of Luck!

As long as the parents are fine with it and the girl has no problem, the only thing that will happen is you'll be a daddy. If they aren't ok with it....just don't drop the soap. As for someone saying you should be castrated, that's just going to far. They're circumstances (EX: He's 18, she's 17 or 16. Not enough to be horrible, at least not IMO)

Assuming the impregnator was not a minor, not good... however in CA there is a 2 yr rule for girls aged 16 and 17... so they can have consensual sex with someone within two years of their age, making 16 w/ 18 ok and 17 w/ 19 ok... however if she is younger and you're older, you've committed statutory rape independent of the pregnancy. Should've used protection!!!

If you are an adult between ages 18 and 21, and the girl is an OLDER teen, perhaps her parents will not press charges, especially if you have been openly dating and they approve of your relationship with her.

However, if you are much older than the girl, you are probably in some pretty big trouble... good luck.

Depending on the parents. Some will freak out and file stagitory rape charges, and some will make sure you have plans to take care of your new coming responsibility's. It may also depend on both of your ages, the doctors are obligated to report this stuff.

I think maybe that you should talk to her parents if she is. Maybe they will like the idea, but is all up to them. So do you know if she is going to keep it? If so she is letting a great thing in to this world. I hope that you will make a great father.

But like I said depends on the parents and the state that you are in.

Best wishes ~Jo~

It is usually considered statutory rape and that person could go to jail if convicted.
