Same boat here. There is likely nothing we can do about it either. Think of it as "practice" for after the baby gets here and you have to wake up every two hours for feedings. LOL...
P.S. Just don't stop drinking water.... dehydration has been known to cause contractions. Good luck!!

Re. "The question is in the pregnancy category for a reason!" Ask a question here about constipation, get 'Gee, you must have a problem with your diet!' Ditto heartburn, ditto...
Re. "How are we supposed to sleep??" I have no idea. If it's not that, it's something else. I've resigned myself to the idea that I'm just not going to sleep through the night, that I might not be able to go back to bed some of those times, that I'll need a nap during the day. Get a good reading light and a library card...
Anybody, somebody here had two words about this once which've stuck in my head:
"Chamber pot."
If my toilet was far-ish from my bed, I think I'd consider it.
Don't avoid fluids, but -- try food instead of drinks, especially fruit, with a high water and high fibre content. A bowl of barley soup before bed isn't an unpleasant habit.
I agree with the "eat crackers." Or anything else that looks like it'll sop it up.

You shouldn't limit your water intake in pregnancy. This comes from the baby pressing against your bladder. In the first trimester you will notice it. The second trimester you will get a little break and then it comes back in the third trimester. I found it very frustrating to sleep at night because just when I would get to sleep I would have to go to the potty. Really there is nothing you can do, you just have to get used to it.

I am a nurse, and i often hear about this...when you relax that's when you're kidneys kick in and work overtime. You need to relax an hour before bed, maybe lay in bed and read/study/watch tv/bedtime stories with kids etc....and then you can be ready to go one final time before bed. If you only relax when you're going to sleep, the problem will most likely continue. But give it a try...let your kidney's kick in before you try going to sleep. Good luck!

Try eating a handful of crackers. It soaks up extra water in your belly and helps urination frequency. My mom had to do that with my brother at night because of his bed wetting problem, and it worked. So give it a try, it should help.

Just punch yourself as hard as possible in the general bladder are, causing it to burst. Then you will never have to get up to go pee again.
