Around 16 weeks you will start to feel fluttering in your tummy. This is called quickening. The baby is just starting to develop enough that you can feel it move. As far as the hard core kicking, that won't come along until you are around 24 weeks when the baby is more developed. At 13 1/2 weeks there is no need to worry because you don't feel anything. Before you know it you will be wishing the baby would stop kicking so you can sleep.

I didn't start feeling movement until 21 weeks! Don't worry, you probably wont feel anything until 18 weeks, which I believe is the average. Also, if you are looking for kicks, you wont feel anything, the first movements are called fluttering and feel kind of like a butterfly inside there.

Don't worry, you will soon. I felt mine kick at 16 weeks, which is kinda early fo a first time preggers. You will prolly feel anytime from 16-20 weeks depending on the baby. The only time you worry about no kicking is when you get into your third trimester, and aound 20 or so weeks you will prolly be ale to find out what is is if you want! good luck, and congrats!!

Do not worry! most women do not feel their baby kick until around 18-22 weeks. When you do start to feel it, it feels like a fish in a bag of water. Try going to Babycenter.com and sign up, they give you weekly feedback on how your baby is growing, and also what is going on in your body. Also when you should feel the baby move. They have great info! Check it out!

dont worry... a lot of woman dont until the 18-23rd week... and they will start off as just lil flutters or butterflies in the stomach, some dont even notice or mistake them for something else. i started at week 14 with twins. i was about 120lbs and 5'6'', the larger you are the longer it might take you to feel movement. so just relax.... you will know. it takes awhile to feel movement so dont get alarmed. if you get to week 23 and dont feel any, talk to your doctor, altho i know he will say something by then if he is worried about it when ya go to the checkups.
