Alot of teens get pregnant. Then they talk about how much they want the baby but after they have the baby they dont take care of the child usally it is the mother or someone else that does it.

I'm in gr9. Like alot of kids, and adults, nowadays i use msn to chat with my friends. however, my mom has a rule that during the school week (mon-thurs) i can't go on msn. do you think that's fair? i almost never get homework and have nothing to do in the evenings. i'm at the point where my parents say i read too much, and i'm also not aloud to watch TV

i am really worried. at the beginning of the year i had a hard time making friends. then i met my best friend. up untill about thanksgiving we were getting along. then i went back to my hometown for a month over christmas break. when i came back she had a whole bunch of new friends. one girl scares me, she always says everything is hot. the other girl is nice but i just dont know her. sometimes i think my friend doesnt like me anymore. today in girls conditioning she told me i needed to lose some weight. then i told her that i wasnt fat and i was only in it to train for track. she just laughed and said right whatever. i was wearing some exercise pants that were like spandex and she told me that they really showed me off. she is like anorexic. i am 114 pounds. she used to be really nice but now she is just annoying.

My 6 month baby boy has had nasal congestion for over a month. Been to the doc on three separte times. They say that it just signus dripage and not a thing that they can do. He eats fine, happy , no sneezing , no fever. They said that it might be allergies and nothing they can do until he is a year old. I just can see letting be like this for another 6 months. We do have a dog and 3 cats. This is the first time since he been home with the congestion .Has anyone else experiance this with their child???

Today my dog was scared of me, I couldn't stand him within 2-4 feet of me all day. I tried so hard not to snap at my daughter. My mom called and put another guilt trip on me (about how my kids are going to be messed up) and so I basically told her to get out of my life, I can't cope with her insulting opinons of me. I got anally organized and was soo tired, but coudn't relax.. I just organized like I wanted everything clean before I die tommorow. Then I get an email from someone who I tried to set bounderies with last week and they basically told me that I am manipulative. I cried for the last hour. First on the tiolet. Then in the shower. Then in bed.. I just bawled. Am i so bad? Why can't people say nice things to me? Am I creating this conflict because I am grumpy lately or are these people really walking all over me? Is this my fault that... am I messing up my kids and being a manipulative *****? And I feel so guilty that my dog is scared of me today...

It's been about 5 -6 days now, and I'm becoming concerned with my body and what it's doing.
I've never had intercourse, but my boyfriend and I got a little close a few weeks ago. We both had clothing on, so I don't see how I could be pregnant, but I think the guilt's overcoming me and I'm all worried now.
My PROBLEM is that I'm in the middle of my cycle, around hte time I ovulate, but I feel different (or at least I think I do) than the other times I've ovulated. I've had hard ovulations before, but I'm not sure what this is.
I am having abdomen flutters, which were pretty bad a few days ago, I had a little back pain and tiredness. I also felt a little nauseous, but I've never thrown up.
Could this just be my ovulation overloading? Could I be making myself have pregnancy symptoms? My period isn't for a few ore weeks, so I really have no idea what I should do!
Even if I'm not pregnant, I'm concerned with how my body is acting right now. Any advice that you could give me would be great!

Etc? If I ever had children, I don't think I would want to feel forced to hang out with aunts, uncles, family, etc just because we have kids the same age. Am I crazy??? That's one reason I don't want children...I don't want to be forced into close family relationships I don't want....

Ok I try not to hit my son but I do warn him. When he acts up I tell him first to go to time out. Which is turned face around in the corner. But if he persist on acting up I tell him Im going to spank him. Which I rarely do. The most I do is pinch his upper arm. But there are times when he is acting up and I tell him to stop and behave. He then looks at me really angry and starts to slap himself. Hard too. Earlier today at the doctors office I told him to sit down quit running or I'll tell your dad. Who he knows his dad doesn't play. Anyway he started clawing his skin on his arm rough and I was like why are you doing that. Anyway is this normal behavior for a 3 year old.

Okay my best friend Glenda is 13. She had a baby about 10 months ago and her mom gave her up for adoption. A local foster parents adopted her,her sister, and her baby. She cares for the baby and loves it dearly. She brings it to the mall and everything, she reagrets having the baby but loves it dealry and i can only imagine how hard it is on her. Friday she came to me crying and I asked her what was wrong. She said her foster mom was going to try and adopt her baby because she didn't think Glenda was ging a good job raising it, even though Glenda raises her daughter just fine. She went down to guidence to talk to the counsler and call her older foster mom who lives about two hours away. I had to leave school early so I dont know what happened after that. Ive been sick all week but today my best friend told me she hasnt been in school all week. Im really nervous for her and I hope she and her baby are okay because I know how much that baby means to her. Can her foster mom take her baby?

my daughter is 1 year and 7 months. she's staring to throw tantrums when ever she sleeps for the past nights. she cries and cries and when ever i ask her is she's hungry or something hurts she only cries a lot more. it's becoming so hard everynight bcause she's missin a lot of needed sleep. is this a stage she must passed or should a consult a psychologist for this? pls help. thanks

I believe my daughter has the flu. It's been going on for 2 days now. She is 3 years old. I have given her motrin as perscribed and it is not working. Her whole body is shaking. I was told to give her a luke warm bath, but I'm not sure if I should do that?

I just decided to drop out of law school to be a stay-at-home mom to my 1yo daughter. She was in day care with about 6 or 7 other kids, and she was always fine there. Now she's home with me and it's like she became the devil child. She is constantly screaming, begging to be held, needing attention from me around the clock. At first I thought it was teething, so I treated with tylenol.. that made no difference, so I stopped. Literally, she spends 70% of every day just screaming. I am trying not to spoil her, so I won't pick her up... I'll stand next to her and hug her, but I won't pick her up. Of course, that only makes her more angry, but I don't want to make the situation worse in the long-term.

Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone have suggestions about how to handle this? It's been going on for about 3 weeks now.

I know the basics,blood pressure,weight etc..but i was wondering do they do a pee test at every appt and will they listen to my babys heartbeat at every single visit (is it mandatory to do so?)p.s i want that done at every appt.

if they do heartbeat at every appt,will they do it during an ultrasound appt as well with the doppler (not the us machine) ? thank you
