im 20 weeks pregnant and found out today i am having a baby boy. YAY! lol. so I was just wondering do you all have any advice on being a parent? I know I have a 2 year old and have been through this but I just seem to be alot more nervous this time. lol. Thanks for all your answers!

congratulations on the baby boy. Boys are fun. Enjoy I think is the biggest advice and savor what time you have with just one right now. Take as many naps and rests as possible now since once there are two you will feel a little more frazzled and torn in two than before. If you have a girl and this is your first boy, I think the biggest thing that suprised me was I have 7 sisters and no brothers so the first time I changed my son he sprayed me which came as a complete shock. I learned real quick to cover him up with a burpie. I just had baby number five 14 1/2 months ago and find that I am more anxious and nervous this time around I think sometimes it comes with knowing instead of being unsure. The first time around we are so unprepared I mean really prepared for how this beautiful bundle of joy will ultimately change our lives but as we have more it just feels like time is of more essence. Spend lots of time with your two year old and make that one know you will be bringing someone new home but that you are still going to love and cherish him or her just as much as before. Congratulations on the baby boy! Just enjoy being pregnant, spend time with your 2 year old and love them as much as you can. Make sure the 2 year old doesn't feel overlooked when the new baby arrives, he should get 'fussed over' too.

Ok, so with a boy, they're gonna hav 'weird' interests... if you hav a girl already, just be ready to be SHOCKED cuz boys are COMPLETELY different than girls... but if you already hav a boy, no wrys cuz u probably kno all u need to kno. ALSO, get this, try to hav an extrememly good realationship with your child because then they won't be embarressed of you and they will know how to treat another woman...

Just keep doing what your doing with your 2 year old. and no one can tell you how to be a parent. it just comes naturally, You do everything for your child and hope they grow up happy , and are safe . congratulations on your new baby boy coming.

SOME OF THE PRELIMINARIES ARE DONE LIKE CHILD-PROOFING THE PLACE. THE 2-YR OLD CAN PITCH IN AND HANDLE DUTIES TOO. ALL IS WELL.
