I'm pregnant and my husband thinks it would be a good idea if I got an abortion..but I'm totally against abortions!! He says that we wouldn't be able to support the new baby....what do I do? I want to make him happy but I'm not cool with washing my hands clean of a child...

I am 37 weeks pregnant. Yesterday morning I was at the hospital with contractions being 2 minutes apart. After 4 hours of those they went to being 15 to 20 minutes apart. I only dilated 1.5 to 2. About 24 hours later i lost my mucus plug and since then i have had alot of pressure in the pelvic and rectal area. Also I am having alot of sharp pains in the lower back and in my adominal area from the belly button down. My doctor, without examining me, the nurse did the exam, said it would 2-3 more weeks before i have my baby.

My son is 6 months, im a new mom and im 18 so i dont know much. But i do know when my son goes to his grandma's he gets spanked for touchin her stuff. I have been having nightmares from it as well i guess cause i dont like it to much. But is there anything to be worried about she spanks his hand that's all. But i think they shouldnt be popped untill they at least understand there word no. When he gets into stuff at my house we say no-no and move him back and we put what ever it is he got into up unless its decorative stuff theni dont believe in putting it up but im i ok for doing that just sayin no-no or is she right by popping his hand. I am a 19 year old single mother, who has been depressed ever since the birth of my child. I have tried to love her and nurture her the way I am supposed to but I end up in tears. I work and go to school to become a I do take care of my responsibilities, but yet I feel like Im holding dead weight and it never seems like I'm doing enough. My parents adore my daughter and they watch her while I work or go to school, but when I return home and in the presence of my daughter I immediately feel troubled and emotional. I have tried for the longest to find the missing feelings for my daughter, but I can't. There's times where I look at her and just don't understand what went wrong, I dont feel the love for her that I am supposed to and Im tired of trying. It's frustrates me and it kills me inside to know that she is such an innocent beautiful gift that I cant appreciate. I needed to give her a good home and environment, so I decided to sign her over to my parents, What do you think?

no matter what i do she wont listen to me it takes me hours to get her to bed at night when i tell her no she just keep asking and asking its gotten so bad i cry at night because i am so frustreated.i have tried everything i love her so much but i dont know how much more i can take please someone help!!

I have sole permanent custody of my 3 yr old son. His father is awarded visitation every other weekend. My son has told me and showed me how his father has touched his peepee and stuck his finger in his butt. 3 yr olds don't know that kind of thing so I know it happened. The DCFS case worker was convinced something happened to him but the case was closed because my son didn't want to talk about it for the video recording. Now, 4 months later, his father starts showing up again wanting visitation. The police were called and told me either I let him have my son or I go to jail and he gets him anyway. I still have my lawyer from the custody case since it's still an ongoing case but claims there's nothing he can do without hard evidence from DCFS. What else can I do? I have to send my son with this sick bastard because it seems no one cares enough to keep persuing it.

...how did you get the strength/courage to have more children after a NICU experience. I occassionally think about having another baby; however, my 18 month old is work due to her developmental delays not to mention the financial hardship. I'm 31 years old and am afraid that by the time my husband and I get financially secure it will be too late to try again. My health, too, isn't hte best as I had my preemie early due to preeclampsia and I still have BP issues. My OB/GYN told me flat out that my chances of having another preemie are pretty good. I just can't see going through that again, plus all of the hospitalization that I had prior to delivery due to complications. Any advice???

I am 9 weeks pregnant. I have all day nausea, but subsides from time to time. When I am driving or if I am a passenger I get incredibly car sick. I NEVER got car sick before. This sucks because I love driving, and I live in a small town where you have to drive at least 25 miles to get to a hospital or a movie theater. Has this happened to any of you??? What would help??? I might get the braclet thing for motion sickness, my doctor told me about it. I don't think it works but we'll see.

I am 32 weeks pregnant and I didn't breastfeed my first child but plan on trying to breast feed the baby I am currently carring. I am trying to bet prepared for my showers and need to know some of the most essential things that I need. What was the brands of the best pumps or did you use one? Storage systems for your milk, what is the best brand? What is the one thing that you couldn't of lived with out? I just need to know the best things that I need. None of MY family has breastfeed so I have no one to ask. My in-laws have breastfeed but it was not a long term thing for them it was jsut as long as they could do it and most didn't make it past week five or six. I play on working out of the home after my baby is born so I need to know exactly what I need for preparing for those days as well. Thank you and any suggestions would be very helpful.

He takes all objects from straws, to forks, and takes his two fingers to spin them. He'll sit on the floor and do this for 10 minutes uninterupted. He's up to date as far a developing mentally with words, and actions, I'm just worried that it might be some form of autisum because my nephew is autistic and shows repetitive behavior all the time. Does anyone's child do things repetively?

13 days past my period from the 9th of this month.. just took preg test today and it was the +=preg -=neg. kind.well i kept starin at the test and i see the pink line across then the one that is supose to go virtacle i seen a white outline ,like there was supose to be there. so i ask my bf to look to see if he seen a pink + sign and he said he sees a plus sign but the line goin up and down is sorta white. so can it still be to early to test after 13 days late?
