Definitely!
It is so fun to watch them hug and cuddle and interact with the doll! LOL, if they slap the baby doll upside the head a lot then its TIME to change your parenting style

Yes. Not only is it "o.k." but it's actually very good for boys. There's nothing wrong with teaching a boy how to be a good "daddy" when he grows up.
Women like to complain how their husbands "won't help with the baby" or "won't change diapers" but if more people actually taught their boys how to do these things from a young age, as we teach girls, we women would likely get more help.
I say get the doll. Graco makes some very nice gender-neutral dolls and accessories (they aren't all pink and girly).

Of course it is! There are lots of dolls out there that are great for boys. Cabbage Patch kids have boys and girls. I think it's fine for a boy to have a doll. We let girls play with trucks and cars... what's the difference?

We have two boys that are 8 and 9 now. We encouraged them to play with both trucks and dolls. Both of my boys had a Cabbage Patch doll that they carried around when they were younger. I think it is great for them to understand that dolls are as normal for boys are trucks are for girls..which my 14 year old daughter played with when she was young also.

YES - my son 2years old has 2 dolls and he puts them in his sisters highchari and pretends to feed them then takes them out chages them, then puts them in the exersaucer. he even puts the dolls down for a nap. Dolls are agreat way for children of eather sex to express feelings, immitate and feel in control. There is no way this will make him girly or gay in anyway let him have a doll he will love it

Sure. Research has proven that boys that play with dolls as children are more loving and caring fathers and husbands. It has also proven that playing with dolls doesn't make a boy gay.

Absolutely! Get some diapers, a few bottles, maybe some burp cloths for the doll as well and teach your son how to use them properly on the doll. Who knows....if you have another baby down the road, you will be all set as far as a helper.

Sure. He's likely to be a parent one day, too, right?
He's also modeling good behavior traits like empathy, sympathy, patience, caring for someone else, keeping track of his stuff...what's not to like about that?
It's also a chance for him to act out his frustrations, boss someone else around, and process things like consequences and impulse control.
Plus, aren't action figures and all that just, in the end, dolls?

YES! I have 4 kids and I think it encourages nutureing skills. I got my son a doll when he was really little and he loved it, then out grew it. If it makes him happy then get him one. No harm done.

Yeah it's ok get a few other girl things too. It doesn't really matter what they play with as long as they have fun. It helps there minds open up more.
