How come Mums get so cranky?

Because we have so much to do and so little time to do it in and we have no help most of the time. We have to wade through the tears, scrapes, bruises, crying, poop. That is why we get cranky.

Why are kids so naughty? Let me see. As i'm a mother myself i get cranky because i repeat the same thing over and over a thousand times a day to my 2 and a half year old son when i feel like i might as well be talking to one of the walls in the house. Because it's a HUGE responsability being a mum and we are scared whitless all the time where not doing a good enough job. Because we have a thousand things to do in a day and only so many hours in which to do them. We don't have any help. Get the idea now. But in spite of everything we love our kids regardless even though they cause us all the work. Go figure.

I'm just a kid barely over ten years old, and I think I've got the answer.

1. Most moms want to raise their child in the best way possible. That takes a lot of effort, because they can loose their cool at any time.

2. Moms have a lot of work to do. Laundry, changing diapers, helping Sally with her homework, telling the kids what to do, watching the kids to make sure they don't hurt themselves, bond with the husband, etc.

3. The moms don't have time to do anything themselves like they used to.

we have a big work load and get very tired just remember we have to live our own lives everyday just like the kids but then we take on the pressures of everyone else as well.

So when you are only concerned with your own affairs - we are looking after our own - our husbands - and kids.

we care so much that we forget to care about being cranky to the ones we love the most~!!

because we are human. We get tired and lose our patience at times. Sometimes the kids can just drive us nuts with the whinging and fighting and answering back. Kids get grumpy and so can mums. Give us a break our lives generally put everyone else first sometimes it can get too much to be nice all the time

Think of it from their point of view:

- You have a million things to do and you don't have a million hours in one day.

- You tell your kid (in this case a pet such as a dog) to do something, and instead of doing that, it either doesn't, walks away, or cries or carries on about having to do something "stupid."

- You have to multi-task. But you're not good at multi-tasking.

- You have no time for yourself and can rarely hang out with your friends.

Tell me you wouldn't be cranky either...

we're under a lot of stress. we're trying to raise kids and run a household. and the kids don't always make things easy on us. they are disrespectful at times and don't listen at times. we want what's best for them and a lot of times moms are taken for granted we have to listen to our kids who we brought into this world say 'i don't like you' just because you won't let them have their way..... i could go on forever but i think this covers it for now
