If you are not sure, please do another test. Try to use first morning urine when the pregnancy hormone is stronger. Also use a digital test or get it tested at a family planning clinic or by your GP - there will be no confusion then. You will be more likely to get a false negative than a false positive.
When I took 3 tests for my last pregnancy - 1 didn't work, 1 (the digital one) said i was PREGNANT in the display and the other said I wasn't - just goes to show that they don't all work! Also if you have one that doesn't show anything in the results window that shows the test if working, take it back to the shop where you bought it and get it replaced!
Hope this helps and good luck!

I've had 6 pregnancies so far (3 living, 2 miscarried and I'm 8wks pregnant) and after baby 2 there is only one test I trust that has never failed and that is First Response. There is a drastic difference in tests despite what other people might say. Don't get the cheap version either. Get First Response and that will tell you for sure no questions about it. Oh and every pregnancy is different. Not everybody has the same hcg levels in there body and this includes multiple pregnancies by the same person so you need one for early detection. For example, my first pregnancy didn't show up till I was 3mths along (I used ept) my second pregnancy didn't show up on a test ( I used the cheap kind ) till I was 14wks pregnant. Yikes! What a shock. The rest of my pregnancies showed up on a First Response test as soon as I missed my period even days before I missed my period. Get First Response!

Definitely not too early to tell! I hate those tests that you cant tell. I'm pregnant and the first one line vs. two line result test I took I thought I was NOT! lol I did another one like that and couldnt tell for sure. Get the digital read outs that say: PREGNANT or NOT PREGNANT otherwise you wont know for sure. The digital ones are accurate five days BEFORE your period is due so you'll definitely get an answer now.
Good luck!
Love to you all!

The same thing happen with my girlfriend and I. We could not tell the - & + where like so fantish. She drink more water the night before takeing the test again first thing in the morning. It was negative and she was not pregnant. I think if you are really preganant the + sign would stick out. Thats why those manufactor state their reputation on knowing if you are pregnant .

Well I personally don't trust those hpt, I think that the only real way to tell is to get a blood test. Because some people don't secrete enough of the hormone into their urine, I know I don't. Go to someone you can trust. All the best with whatever happens for you.

I would say it sounds like your pregnant. Buy another test, a different brand where you ONLY get a line if you're pregnant like a - and a blank box if you aren't pregnant. Those tests are better. My + the up and down line was barely there, but I was preggo!!

i would suggest doing another test to be sure. if you didn't get enough wee on the test it may not work properly. you are far enough along to get a result. try collecting the wee in a cup ,then dip the test into it, that is easier than trying to aim it onto the test.
