I for one do not agree with it .. I have no problem with people being gay but i do have a problem with them being able to adopt a child. I think those children have had it bad enough in their lives if they are being fostered/adopted , should we not do the right thing by putting those kids into a "normal" family , mum , dad , pet dog etc . I worry they will at some point be ridiculed out of no fault of their own . I think its awful personally ..

I went away with my bf for the weekend and forgot my pill, as i was rushing around and had to pack my sons stuff too. I took the pill soon as i rememberd when i got back and the instructions read im not pretected for the next sevan days. I had sex with my bf yesterday 4 times, i know this is stupid but i thought it would be ok as im ovulation dates are 14th to 17th. can i still get pregnant on the 23rd?? Im woried bacause im taking the pop pill and its dangerous and harmfull if pregnant.

My little boy is 8 wks old and his forehead and cheeks are really dry and flakey. So much for baby soft skin, he feels like a brillo pad! I've tried olive oil, baby oil and johnson's baby moistureiser but they havent made any difference. I don't use any bath products and use non bio washing powder. His body, arms and legs are fine, its just his face. Does anyone have any other ideas, he's getting christened in 3 weeks time.

I have one baby now , and I wonder if the right thing to have second baby , my frist baby is 10 month and after I have my frist one the doctor do a lot of mistak with me ,so I have very bad time, but if it right to have the other baby shell the peiroud very long betwen them or two year fine ? This being a spanking done on the bottom, leaving no permanent marks (No bruising, welts, blisters...) just the spanker using a belt.

Abuse: meaning that these children should be taken out of the home, and placed in foster care. The spanker thrown in jail.

I do believe in spanking, but NEVER with belts. I have a friend who does. I think that is a bit harsh, but I hate the way people throw the word "abuse" around. When I use that word, the above mentioned better happen. I know they don't leave marks on their children. It's a different style then mine, but I don't consider it abuse. They both love their children very much, and I would consider the children to be "above average" in their development compared to peers.

Somebody here mentioned that "When you buy food using the WIC vouchers, you are restricted to certain brands."

I *think* I remember once being in a US supermarket (I'm not American) and seeing some groceries tagged as WIC-eligible. If it was WIC I'm thinking of, I remember wondering why it only seemed to be lousy stuff.

The cheapest, most preservative-laden bread. Processed cheese. Etc.

but it's a bit confusing. Are carrots really the only vegetable? No fruit?? Why's tuna on the list when pregnant women routinely worry about mercury levels in fish? (Being vegetarian, I haven't really looked into it...) And, no other meat. "Pasteurized Process American" is allowed, but allowable cheese "Must be real cheese (as stated on product label)." Huh?

I could see not allowing junk food, or heavily processed food, but that list seems to be cutting out a ridiculous amount of nutritious stuff --

I had my last WIC appointment today, and the woman told me that I will not be getting anymore checks for formula after April. My son will be a year old by then, but I obviously need to start weening him off the bottle real soon! The only table foods I've given him so far are grahm crackers, pasta, mac-n-cheese...and that's about it (except for the foods I let him try and he did not like). And is it normal for him to only have his two bottom teeth at 10 months old? I thought he'd have at least 4 by now.

My fiance and I are trying for a baby.We spoke about it and decided that we wanted a baby. we tried but when i did a pregnancy test it was neg. This just after watching the story of Elizabeth Smart. She was taken out of her own room. This is a case where of course a camera would have helped. We don't have them in our home at all, but are now going to install them. Besides the family room, and outside cameras, we are kind of up in the air with the girls rooms. Yes or NO?

Also what is a good brand to go with, if you already have them installed?

How do you think he did or is doing?

For adults - How is your current relationship with your mom? Your dad?


I only ask because I have a friend who works but her husband stays home with their two little girls. I personally think it's great. Although I am not there, it looks as if he is doing a wonderful job raising them. This is just a question out of curiosity? No right or wrong answer. THANKS!!!
