Try not to cough or sneeze on your baby, and make sure you wash your hands before a feed (you usually need to "handle" the "feeding equipment") and your baby should be just fine. They can't contract a stomach flu from your breastmilk, and the antibodies provided by your breastmilk will help prevent your baby from contracting it from you through other means anyway.

Yes - you can continue to nurse while you are ill - just be careful of taking medications (have the OB approve anything first). Nursing while you are sick helps pass the antibodies to the baby and can even help prevent them from getting sick.

Yes, totally. In fact as you make antibodies to fight the bug, the baby will get them, amking the baby less likely to get sick from the same bug.

100% yes...although...id so hate to be you right now! try and take the baby to bed with you...or get someone to watch the baby and bring her to you for feeds only....get some sleep!
