It is possible it could be the uterus growing to make room for the growth of the baby. Get the book "What to Expect
When Your Expecting" it is the best book I ever found on being pregnant and it is full of info that will help you out all throw you pregnancy.I gave it too all my friends who where expecting and they tell me it is the best book ever .I know when I was expecting our son as he grew my lower back hurt and the doctor told me it was because he was facing backward and pressing on my back bone and to this day almost 15 years later I still say he `s backward lol best wishes on your new arrival and enjoy as we have.. lvwingfield : )

If you are referring to lower abdominal pain - it's normal. You are growing and your muscles have to expand to support your growing uterus. It's called round ligament pain. You may get sharp pains in your lower abdomen or on one side or the other - especially is you're sitting and then stand up. If it's continuous and you're not getting any releif - call your doctor - but if it's here and there - even often, that's normal. Congrats.

what kind of lower pain? i had a kidney infection and that hurt in my lower back. and i had to take antibotics for that also you could be constipated which would cause cramping. i would call my doctor and describe the pain and see what he wants to do about it. good luck.
