well i am expecting period in six days. if i take a blood test will it show if i am pregnant or not.

Yes, blood tests are more sensitive than HPTs. But it is still testing for the pregnancy hormone. When the sperm and egg meet, the meet in the fallopian tube. Then is takes a few days for the egg to travel down to the uterus and implant. Then it takes a few days for the implanted egg to start producing enough of the pregnancy hormone to be detected. So you are looking at about 10 days after conception before a blood test could be accurate.

yes. a blood test is much much more accurate than an HPT. a blood test can be accurate 48-72 hours after fertilization. Good Luck.

they dont normally do a test that early but it may do. You may want to wait till missed period, cause it will show then! Good Luck
