I forgot to add that I havent taken the test yet, I didnt want to waste money if it's impossible. I'm just really anxious and want to know if it is possible

Yes, I have- 16 years ago, I took one of the popular home pregnancy tests three weeks after I knew I conceived and it was positive. You still should see an OB/Gyn to get early prenatal care or to make an informed decision.

I took 2 pregnancy tests (to be sure) a full seven days before my period was even due and both were positive! I used the brands "Answer" and "Clearblue Easy". The answer one is the one i took first and it showed up a very bold line and the clearblue one was very faint but there.
If you do not chart or monitor your fertility in any way, and you think you may have conceived, you should wait 19 days (or longer) after having sex to test. Why 19?! Sperm can live approximately 5 days in the proper environment; if the sperm managed to live until you popped an egg, the actual conception could have taken place several days after the sex act that got the sperm there. To make sure you're not testing too early, assume the sperm had very long lives (5 days is considered a very long sperm life) and that conception occurred then. Then allow 14 days for the embryo to implant and develop enough hCG to show up on a pregnancy test (96% of pregnant women will test positive by then.)

Hi, i did a pregnancy test 7 days before my period was due and got a positive result. This was 3 yrs ago. I have a beautiful toddler now. So yes they do work before the recommended time. Jayne c

yes I have gotten a positive. fyi- the best time to take a pregnancy test is in the morning when the pregnancy hormone level in you pee is the strongest. You will get a better reading then.

If your pregnant and the HCG level is strong it will pick up even a week before your period is to start..or so im told.

Im a POAS addict (pee on a stick), ive wasted hundreds, its hard, but u should wait til after ur missed period
