Children will not starve themselves. Offer her a few healthy choices at meal and snack times. Let her eat what she wants when she wants. If she is feeling a little under the weather she is probably just not hungry. Make sure she stays hydrated. If she is drinking, she'll be fine without eating for a few days with no ill effects. Don't make a big deal out of it and don't offer her a bunch of junk food snacks.

If she continues not to eat then buy all means take her to the doctor. But I can assure you that a child will not starve themselves to death. When she is hungry enough she will eat. I know it seems scary because it has been two days but my kids have done the same thing when they were young and even my three year old does it now when she does not feel well but she always makes up for it when she does start feeling better.

Don't worry, sweet mommy. It's perfectly normal after vaccinations. My kids always did the same thing. Children that age eat when they're hungry. It's a survival thing. Give her plenty of liquids, maybe popsicles so she won't get dehydrated. Put up with the grumpies, give her lots of love and reassurance. Learn to love the terrible twos. They're not being bad they're just exploring their boundaries at that age. And, they're soooo funny at 2.

Most children go through a couple of days of not feeling well after getting shots. Just be patient and she will eat when she is hungry; you should never force a child to eat. If it becomes more than a few days, and you are worried, call her pediatrician.

She's probably not feeling very well because of the shots. She'll start eating again when she feels better. Just make sure to give her plenty of liquids. They all go through stages of not eating much. She'll eat when she gets hungry.

Could you put it all in a blender so that it turns into a drink? Would she drink stuff? Just a thought, good luck, I hope you manage to work it out.
