Pregnancy & Parenting - 20 January 2007

Me & my live-in sweetie have just found out I'm pregnant. I'm 42, he's 41 & neither of us have ever been married, nor do we have children. After the inital shock wore off, he has turned into a BIG jerk!! I keep getting comments like "If you really are pregnant" or "Let's wait & see" - I took 3 tests ( 2 with his "supervision") & he is becoming more of a jerk each day. Why has he suddenly become so mean & distant to me? (We weren't planning children, but had talked about what if.....) He seemed excited at first, but now he just acts like it is all my fault & refuses to even talk about it!! HELP!!

PS - I haven't used any birth control for over 12 years - didn't think children was in my or our future.

Is it harder to conceive? I mean I pray to god not b/c I want a ton of kids, but I just have no clue. I know my cyst is pretty big(Its between the size of a golf ball and tennis ball) and that it turns with my ovary often. I also know I may have surgery to be rid of it in march if it keeps twisting with the ovary. Please tell me anything you know about whether or not I may not be able to become pregnant b/c of it...?

I had this problem with my youngest son. He thought he should still be reward for doing something wrong as well as doing good. For example failing school and getting thrown off the bus for acting like a jerk. He would get rewarded for doing good.

When i breastfeed my son of 8months i still get a aching feeling in my tummy like in the first few days of having him. I've been told that my uterus is still contracting. Is this true? and is that a good sign?

I dont seem to be loosing any weight, and again i've been told that abit should come off when i eventually stopped feeding. (i know i need to eat well to successfully breastfeed)and i have no intentions of stopping feeding yet.

Just like to know if my uterus is sill contracting and what it means!!

I am pregnant with a girl. My husband and I came up with the name Isabella.We chose it because Isabella is a common italian name (he is italian) and Stacey is a common greek name (I am greek). Also, Isabella means "god is my oath" and Stacey means "Ressurection", as you know both are associated with god and we are both strong believers of god. I am at my wits end and have resorted to shouting which is ridiculous and wrong! She basically lives on cereal bars, toast, smiley faces and yoghurts. I also have 19 month old twins who are not as picky so every time I make their food, I put a little on her plate to try to encourage her - she won't even put it to her lips! I give her multi vitamins every day because I am worried she isn't getting anything from her meals. She is very active and doesn't have a problem with weight but I've noticed recently that when she goes to the toilet, there is no colour in her poo (sorry) and its starting to really worry me now.
Any suggestions would be very welcome but serious answers only please.

I've got 2 boys (nearly 5 and 2 + a half) and I'd like to put them in bunk beds but I have my reservations ....

Like the big one forgetting he's in a bunk bed and falling down the ladder, the small one trying to climb to the top bunk, not getting to the loo on time etc...

last month i had sex about 5days before my period.i still came on. the first day heavy but afterwards very light and only for a few days.
i have diferent signs of pregnancy like my breasts are slightly bigger, i tend to eat more, i can sleep for hours and still feel tired and my tummy is swollen.
i heard there is a possability to be pregnant and still have periods
