I would like to give my newborn son a name that stands out boldly, one of dignity and respect. I was considering 'Binky the Big Fat Fish' as his first name. I would, naturally, insist that the name be used in full at all times. Any thoughts?

I would think it best to put the empahsis different in your first name - 'Binky THE Big Fat Fish' just sounds so much more class. How many people have a 'THE' in their name? Insist on it being spelt all in capitals too.

Of course you might want to give him every opportunity in life, so you have to give him a name that starts with an 'A; so he is always at the head of every alphabetical queue. So 'Albert' for a start. Oh, and a name with a B for the 'B; queue: Biggles is fine. Any queue that starts with a C: Cuthbert, etc.
I think a fine name, to give this young man every opportunity in life, would be:
Albert Biggles Cuthbert Derek Ebenezer Fred George Harold Ignatius Jack Kenneth Leonard Maurice Norman Oswald Peter Quentin Reg Stephen Thomas Ulysse Victor William Xavier Yeti-features Zebedee, and then your surname.
You now have every eventuality covered and your son will bless you when he is older!

i would look up a baby names book and see what they have or pick a name you like and change the spelling to an unusual way of spelling like tommy spell it tommie. or think of a famous person you admire and use their name or use a shorter version. congrats
