I am pregnant with a girl. My husband and I came up with the name Isabella. We chose it because Isabella is a common italian name (he is italian) and Stacey is a common greek name (I am greek). Also, Isabella means "god is my oath" and Stacey means "Ressurection", as you know both are associated with god and we are both strong believers of god. Also, we liked Isabella because it was versatile. Know, what do you guys think of the name?

I like Isabella for a girl, i hate the name Stacey and do not think that it goes well with Isabella... I dont know anything about Greek names so i cant offer other suggestions, but I am sure that there are much more pretty greek names out there to pair with Isabella... But seriously, STacey is not a pretty name.

i love the name isabella! it is so beautiful! but i hate the name stacey mostly because of the stacey that i know at school. anyway, i vote on the italian name isabella and the greek name adrianne? sounds pretty isabella adrienne.

Isabella is cute but just extremely common now. I would use Stacey as a first name just because you don't hear it as often.

I love it. I babysit a young girl named Isabella, but they call her Bella for short. (Her father is also Italian.) Everytime I hear that name I think of Isabella Of Parma, a beautiful Italian noblewoman who lived on through history.
