well sex does help in relaxtion its more about enjoying and having fun so there is no stress involved. if you feel its is not relaxing then there might be a psychological reason to it, a fear perhaps or maybe some sort of act in the past must've let you hurt or torn inside which made you build a barricade or wall for sex, think about it, its not bad as you make it sound.
