My first was 11 months old, he was a boy. Now I have a 10 month old, she is getting the standing alone technique mastered. She will probably not walk as quickly as my son did but every child is different.

My son was 9 1/2 months when he started walking he is now 3, but every child is different! My one little brother started walking at 10 months and the other started walking at 1 Year (Exactly on his 1st birthday) we were having his birthday party when he started walking it was really cool!

my first daughter walked when she was 9 months old she crawled for about 2 weeks and that was it. my sencond daughter crawled for MONTHS and only walked when she was about 14 1/2 months old. EVERY child is different. But if you are concerned maybe talk to your childs doctor about it.

My son walked at 9 months..completely missed the crawling stage and went right to walking.
My nephew was 14 months, but I think he was too chubby to get going...lol
