What kind of Pump you get will depend on how much you want to pump. An occasional use pump is only good to use two or three times a week. These are usually the cheaper ones like the manual or the ones that plug into the wall. A daily use pump can be used two or three times a day. These are going to have bigger motors and will range in price from $250-$350. You want to choose one that will fit your lifestyle. If you don’t choose one with a strong enough motor, you could burn out the motor and have to go buy another one.
Avent is a really good Brand and I'd stick with them. The one concern is that the baby won't like the nipple. Some babies are really picky as to what they will suck on.

We had both Playtex Drop-ins, and Avent bottles. Our kids, who were breastfed, but started daycare at 8 weeks, used both with few problems. But every baby is different, and you may find that they don't like the bottles and you'll have to find something else.
I had a Medela electric pump at work, but I used an Avent ISIS hand pump at home occasionally, and I loved it. I've heard that you can now get an Isis double electric pump, and I bet that works pretty well.

they work well for a hand pump but electric double sided with adjustable speed and suction helps you to empty out better in less time just remember that what you pump off doesn't always reflect what baby is getting as they will nurse much more than you will get with pumping

I found that the Avent bottles leaked sometimes... I couldn't explain why it would one time and not the next, but it still leaked.
