If you go to court to fight a speeding ticket, and the cop doesnt show up, is our case dismissed, and record cleared of that ticket? Also, if you show up, and then the cop is there, do you have a chance to not fight it, and take traffic school? Also, last time I wanted to fight a ticket, he showed up, but he dismissed all the fines he gave that day, and I got a check that gave me back the payment I made, so is that also dismissed?

My sister (under the age) got calls from her boyfriend saying that he was someone else and that he was watching her. He said the address and all of this kind of stuff. He then said that he was going to kill everyone in the house. We called the cops and an officer came out but all he said was that we could press charges for phone harassment if he called again. Shouldn't there already be charges for the harassment and threats?

So a monday morning this guy named Chris stole my ipod at school, I didn't realize it was gone until i got home. Tuesday morning his best friend whos also my friend told me that chis stole it. i asked if he had it and said no and walked away. i took the issue to our school officer and he had no proof that chris stole it so he left it alone. i got really mad, and chrise's OTHER best friend got mad at him and even told the officer that chris had stolen it. no one did anything. people have even seen my ipod.
Can I take this to court?
My iPod's worth around $2000 with everything on it.

i have been cross leveled to a mp unit headed to iraq, we just went through the gas chamber no biggie, 10 minutes and your fine again after letting loose all knot and tears etc, my concern is everyone in the unit has to get maced or pepper spayed in the face next week, and some of the guys are actual police officers in civilian sector and they have all told me they prefer the gas chamber over the ppepper spray any day, i was wondering what you can do after being sprayed in the face, is there anything that can be used for instance to repel the peper spray or limit the effectivness or am i doomed?

What happens after you violate probation does the PO violateyou? My brother has a court date for violating a one year probation period . He violated by pleading guilty to the same type of charge it was a cds possesion he was on Probation for and he violated for cds Manufacture/Distribute so what will happento him. Will he have to serve the whole one year in jail for violating because after the court date it is only one week left on the probation. And if he does what happens to the 3 years he had because by pleading guilty they gave him 3 years supervised probation which put him on 2 probations at the same time. He will not be able to do the supervised if he is in jail right. Can they put you on 2 probations at one time? I know it may be confusing but what are the possibilities. Please be serious he only has a public defender that's why I am asking. PLEASE HELP AND BE SERIOUS

You drop you children off at a local theater to watch a movie. Two men approach your child. The men ask your child a question and don't like the answer your child has given. The adult men begin physically assulting you teeanage child pushing, phunching in the face etc, and your child attempts to defend himself.
The police arrive after being called out. They take one man to jail for assult to a minor the other runs away. They give your child a ticket for fighting. It that justice?

i got pulled over say 4 months ago and got a ticket for driving without a license he was nice and let me go home so I have not been driving because i haven't had the $ to get my license yet so my Grams calls and says she needs her prescriptions she can't breath and we have no other family so i did the right thing and got my grams inhalers. welll on the way home now i live maybe 50 yds from her and as i was going up the hill a cop car past me and of course you can imagine the words that ran thru my head and then all of a sudden here he comes with his blues on and comes in my window and says I just wanted to check and see if you got your license all set!!!!!!!!! i think iforgot to leave out it was the cop that pulled me over the first time. IS that harrassment...??

If some one faked their own death, and you got done for their murder and served the whole sentance in jail, then when you got out and you saw them... could you just kill them and not get punished for it because you already serve the time for their death????

I made a few mistakes ten years ago when I experimented with drugs a couple of times. I have been in the Military for the past ten years, earned a Bachelors Degree, and have not used any drugs while in the Military.

I am interested in a position at a Florida Sheriff or Police unit and would like to know what their prior drug use policy is for a Polygraph Examinations. For example; I know the FBI's policy is no use of any drugs other than Marijuana in the past ten years, and no use of Marijuana in the past 03 years.

I have heard that some Sheriff Offices require no drug use in the past 36 months, and that is it. If anyone could help me out that would be great. Thank you.
