Pull you over and not tell you why you were pulled over? I wa s in the car with someone who was pulled over (& arrested) we asked why and were never told. We ran no red light, there were no stop signs to roll thru, we werent speeding or swerving. I guess that brings me to my next question, are they allowed to run your license plates legally with no reason for doing so (I ask because i was told by one of my professors who is an attorney and a very good friend who is an attorney that they are not allowed to do it legally). Also, are male officers allowed to search and arrest women? Just asking because i'm not too sure how it works and before i move forward i would LOVE to get some info from a law enforcement official or an attorney who i dont know to see if there is any variation. I'm very shaken because it was a scarey situation, they had three cop cars behind us, one of whom was a DNR officer & had hands on guns . Hopefully i'll be able to file a complaint this week. If police were called to a scene but boyfriend was not there and then a restraining order was put out and police have not been able to give order to boyfriend can he be arrested for anot getting the order? Girlfriend wants to cancel restraining order what should she do? Girlfriedn does not want him to get arrested what would cause him to get arrested? ANSWER ALLLLLLL QUESTIONS PLEASE!!!!!!

My boyfriend was arrested last night (St. Patrick's Day) for disorderly conduct. Big deal, but not the end of the world. Except that he is in the military. Can someone please help me understand what the procedure for him is from here? And what is the difference between this and public drunkeness? Is this charge serious enough to be kicked out the military?

2 months ago, my former friend's dad got in an accident, in which he was no longer able to work. He was no longer to pay the bills and was 2 months behind. I was nice, so I loan my friend 4000 dollars. He promised he would have payed me once he received his income return. 1 month ago, his friend told me he had received his income return. Right after, I tried to get ahold of him, but to no avail. He never answered my calls or was never home. At that time, I had arranged to pay a deposit and first months rent of an apartment my friends and I were getting. I had 3 days left to pay, but I still couldn't get ahold of him. I found out one day that he told his friend that he was never going to pay me. This is when my 4 friends and I decided to break into his house to at least get some stuff of his. One night, we drove to his house. When we got there, we decided not to do it, so my friend just threw 2 rocks at the windows. On the way out of the neighborhood, we got stopped.

My psycho roommate charged @ me with 2 knives, & I went to make a police report, & the police wouldn't let me make a police report because I have mental disabilities. They told me that "By law, I'm mentally unstable & incoherent." But in actuality, I'm mentally stable. I can't be too mentally unstable & incoherent if I have a college degree in Spanish-Liberal Arts, huh?

What do I do @ this point? Should a police officer be telling me such thing? This sounds awkward. I thought that ANYONE should be able to have a right to make a police report. Was what he said considered DISABILITY DISCRIMINATION? & can I sue the precinct?

yet old people who probably took there test when crank handles where around can drive, we have this person in our town who is a joke, she can hardly see above the wheel, and swerves
it is so funny its not

these people should be stopped from driving once they reach 70

Michigan Compiled Laws 257.710e lists people who don't have to wear safety belts including commercial vehicles that make frequent stops. Does this include taxi drivers and tow truck drivers (i.e. wreckers) and UPS drivers? Anybody else not have to wear a seat belt?

My daughter 12 and her friend stole two shirts from american eagle. I figured it out because they were trying to get the sensors off. I have called the other girls parents and we have decided to have the girls return the items. What do you think will happen? The shirts were $24.99 each.
