When I was eleven I was walking down the street with a small stick hitting trees. The police stopped my friend and I and took my stick, searched us and threaten to arrest us for damaging public property.

My son is afraid to go back to MI, and wants to know if he is in trouble. He lived in Alcona county.

how about this:
Instead of tickets, the cops asks where you are coming from and then takes you back there and makes you drive it again at the speed limit, just like mommy used to do
"No running in the house! Go back and WALK this time!"
I think people would rather have a ticket than be very, very late if caught!
It might actually work and cost less (money wise, at least).

What do you think?

Have you ever notice that when you call the local police to report for emergence such as robbery/heard a gun short around your neighborhood, they takes at least 2 hours+ to arrived.
From my experiences most of the time, firemen were arrived way faster then the policemen. Which make me wonder are they really trying their best to do their job? Or they try to save their *** by avoiding physical contact with the bad guys.

I don’t want the think police are sucks, but according to all the negative image of police. Such as:
1. The fact shows on above
2. For most of us all we experience is getting speeding/parking tickets from them.
3. Seeing them hiding around supermarket eating donut.
4. Unnecessary beating to suspect which show on TV.
Which make wonder is there anymore kinds still want to be a police when they grow up?

I had an encounter the other day that made me think. I finished a call for tresspassing at a lower income apartment complex and was walking back to my car when three young kids (3-6 years old)started waving, saying hello and walking towards me. I waved back and was going to offer them some little plastic police badges for kids I carry in my car. When the kids were about five feet from me their mother burst out of her door and belted out "Don't you talk to no F*!*ing cop, get your asses back in here." Then someone else yelled from inside another apartment "Go home PIG!" Is it possible that some people grow distrustful of the police before they have ever been able to truly form their own opinion?

If normal good people knew about cell phone guns, do you think they would have been so hard on the Palm Beach Officer who Tasered the women in the SUV while she was holding a cell phone?
Here is a link that shows one kind of cell phone gun. There are a variety of different kinds I have actually found one on a known Gang Member. It was different than the link and only held one round, this one holds four. We did not test fire it to see if it really worked, but it sure looked like it could. http://cellular.co.za/phones/gunphone/gun-phone.htm
Cops never know who is friend or foe or what could be a weapon.

I let a friend of mine move into my apartment with me rent free in April. I just had paid the rent which was $575 ... the only thing she ever paid for while living there was her food. We have both then since moved out of the apartment. She only stayed there 1 month. She now owes me for the month she lived there $182 dollars which includes... power, water, phone, internet, and things of that nature. She is posting public things about me on the internet on different websites. And everything that she is saying about the apartment situation is a lie. She is asking people if they think she should pay the money to me. Isn't this illegal to go around bashing peoples character? What would you do? I am going to file a civil case against her next week for the money she owes me. Do you think I should get a lawyer and let him deal with it since she is making such a big deal about it?

Is it normal to have a severe mistrust of the police (e.g. mistrusting them, or that they might make up crimes, etc.)?

Back in November (Of this year), a good friend left her Quarter/Arabian horse at my home to board. She has not contacted us since. I know posession is 9/10ths of the law, but is there a law that her horse can legally stay at my home (With no contact at all, or money from her, I have not even recieved a letter or a phone call) before it becomes my property and no longer hers? I have tried to contact her to no avail. I get either her answering machine or she answers and asks me to call her back at another time, because she is busy. When I do, I get the same two responses. So, really now. Is there a law that her horse can legally become mine without me purchasing it? She's basically abanoned him here. I give him the love and affection he needs.

How long and what do you have to go through to become a highway patrol office in anyone of these states? Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, California. How do you feel about street racers I don't have a licence but 100% sure i'm gonna enjoy driving fast and have at least one street race within the first 3 month's of getting my licence. It's kinda weird but I'm on both sides of the law I like the highway police but I also don't. If you can tell me the salary per year for highway patrol officers in those states. Do you have to have a certain number of years before you can be a highway patrol officer. And is it illegal to admit you have broke a law and is it illegal to see a car crash but leave the scene. E-mail me if you want to explane more but you don't have to.

I want to write a complimentary letter to my local Police, Fire and Ambulance Stations... I need to keep it short and I want it to be the best ever yet so it can always be remembered. I'm a teenager, a thank-you letter is rarely sent by youth these days. I really respect them for what they do and I want to let them know. So, if there is anything someone can help me with, I'd really appreciate it. Thank-you.
