When I was eleven I was walking down the street with a small stick hitting trees. The police stopped my friend and I and took my stick, searched us and threaten to arrest us for damaging public property.

you sound like a dumb cracker. what is it with you and trees anyway. do you just hate green? leave the damn trees alone and the police will not have to stop you. If you ever bought or planted a tree you would know why the police were just doing their job to stop and roust you. trees cost money and are delicate. show some respect. try swinging a stick at the weeds.
I bet if you were planting flowers the cops would not have bothered you no matter what race you appear to be.
When I was a poor white kid of 12 the cops stopped me and tried threatened to arrest me for walking out of a free firemans picnic with a pop bottle worh 2 cents for return. They said I stole it. I threw 2 cents into the cop car and told them to you know what and ran away. Cops harrass everybody. its their job.
stop being so touvhy about your race and focus on your appearance and conduct. If you look nice and act nice, they will not bug you. if you go around looking like an idiot in your dads pants, you are just asking for it.

Black? It would not surprise me, but anyone with any different color than white always gets to suffer more than white people (at least this is what I have seen in London, UK) and I am white.. Asian, latinos, Muslims etc have had problems here since the bombings in the underground last July.

No. Grown-ups do the darnest thing... scare kids into behaving, to install a sense of "authority" for the guy in uniform.
But if I was to base it on the TV shows I see - you probably look like one of those gangster in the making kind of kid, an African American, or Latino... or Bart Simpson...

I would say you live in the United States of White America, and is it possible you are of African descent. (Actually, all Humans come from Africa, and we were all dark skinned before we spread out around the globe)
